  • Congratulations to your Center!

  • @TjugoHundraNio Thank you :-) We are enjoying it *very* much!

  • Way to go Rocky. You both did great. Rocky's very attentive and kept looking up to you for instruction. Love watching all your dog training videos. Thank you for sharing :-)

  • @ireneblchua, thank you Irene! and thank you for watching!! :-))

  • hehe, it doesnt look like you havent had time with your dogs! Rocky is amazing!!!

  • @kikopup, thank you Emily! Rocky LOVES everything, however heeling and retrieving are two of his favs! :-))

  • Rocky looks so totally happy to be "working" with you! Thanks for sharing, this made my day =)

  • @Namebadge11, thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it! :-)) I'm happy to share the "joy of Rocky", he's a wonderful dog. But then again, aren't they all?!

  • what breed is Rocky? Looks like Ridgeback or cross?

  • @suhaylett, Rocky was dumped out here in 2004 with another dog (my GingerPeach) who is most certainly a Golden Retriever. Rocky is a Golden with maybe some Labrador Retriever mixed/crossed in. Much similarity between the two, they are either siblings or mom/pup. the "ridge" you might be seeing in the video is actually his spine, he has a unique skeletal system :-))

Hi, thank you, I ama dog trainer /behaviourist in the UK, and unfortunately most of theLabradors and Goldies are getting really light coats, almost white, possibly interbreeding in Cornwall as water on 3 sides so breeders can't be bothered to go out of county.

The ones from working stock are darker but rarely see those. Rocky is a big boy, and yes I did spot what I thought was a ridge, but didn't look quite right which is why I said cro9ss breed. He is lovely.

  • @suhaylett yes, some people really favor the Goldens in the white "Cream" color as I believe they call them. And also the show lines have extremely long feathering. Rocky favors the "Fox Red" color for sure and he has zero feathers :-) I've looked online at pics of the field lines and they often have far less feathering than the show lines and slightly diff build. thank you, I think Rocky's lovely, can't imagine how anyone can just dump animals but alas, they do.

  • Respond to this video...

Ah, just spotted Ginger peach, that the epileptic one I think? Just had a clients Goldie had first GM sfter playing in a load of pihne tree chippings (had never done this before) So it has definately proved the 'scent' theory of Pine and probably Rosemary too.

  • @suhaylett yes, GP is my dog who has epilepsy. she is lighter in color, kind of ginger colored ;-) and has some feathering but still not like a show Golden. her heart/temperament is 100% pure gold, she is a wonderful therapy dog with TDI. so sorry to hear about your friend's Golden. cedar is on the list of triggers for some dogs, beware cedar chipped bedding, etc. my Best Wishes to your friend and her dog, hope this was an isolated sz or at least not another one for a very long time.

Hi, I've watched your Thundershirt video, and am on the EPIK9 group though I don't post much. My Bobby has a thundershirt too now, calmed the post ictal a lot, he's one of the lucky ones, had a 2 year clear run once on Pb, gradually the meds have had to be increased, and he has some ataxia, but I do lots of back leg movement exercises to keep his legs from stiffening up and to keep the brain pathwaysopen (at least I hope that is what it is doing, he will be 10 in April.

  • @suhaylett, Glad to hear you tried a Thundershirt and have found it helpful for Bobby's post-ictal phase. The back leg movement exercises sound very good, indeed want to keep the brain-body pathways/connections strong.

  • Your videos are wonderful! I loved the joy of Rocky! thanks for sharing!
