@Palmar3s if you can't lift weights and do arm curls for biceps then do pushups for bicep definition. should help make your chest and arms Toner. chest more built.
u can also lift anything to tone your biceps , Stuff a back pack full of stuff make it heavy as a weight u want to lift then go for it!

@superdome65 possible but i think a combination of weight training for calves with jump rope would get u pretty big calves since weight training actually tears the muscle apart and u let it heal and it grows bigger each time.

I've always ran hard and worked my calves with heavy weights, but they've always been a problem area. Since skipping rope, my calves have gotten a lot bigger. It's worked wonders for me.
The calves are a tough muscle to build bc it's so resilient. It's used to working all the time. But the first time I did 1000 skips, my calves were screaming in pain....the good kind.

u just have to practise :) i got mine lik 2 days ago, and im already getting better. i think you just get used to it over time. the secret is to just make sure the rope passes under your feet when your in midair. its really that simple/ i think music helps also. ps keep in mind i have a painful ankle and injured knee, and im overweight trust me i sucked at it real bad---so if i can learn then anyone can. good luck :)

The key is to shoot up before you do this, it will make ensure that the cigarette doesn't get knocked out and it also makes the rope flame proof. In fact, if you shoot up enough, you'll be able to crush ball bearings with your eyelids. So screw the jump rope, shoot up instead.

Chaosladore obviously if you do 9 rounds non stop your not jumping right try to go as fast as you can acctually maintain balance and just freestyle it and try to add double unders to your rope jumping.
Believe it or not it has nothing to do with rythm. Its all about breathing and cordination. I jump rope for 9 rounds nonstop based on my breathing pattern. every time I exhale the rope is ground level so jump. You dont have to make it a big jump just enough to get the rope passed your feet.
These people look down on boxing..they think there are just 2 people going in the ring and smacking each other until one goes down..NO..its HARD WORK..I got hurt, I cried, I sweat, I go on painful diets, I work out 7 days a week. 3+ hours a day and on sat & sun I work up to 7 hours..its hard work..I hate it when normal people come on and make stupid comments on boxing..if you don't anything about it..don't write anything..idiots don't have a clue of how hard true boxers work and how they suffer.

That's foot cordination same dif. It makes your feet move quicker at different angles wich allows you to postion yourself for attakcs or retreats.

Believe it or not it has nothing to do with rythm. Its all about breathing and cordination. I jump rope for 9 rounds nonstop based on my breathing pattern. every time I exhale the rope is ground level so jump. You dont have to make it a big jump just enough to get the rope passed your feet.

These people look down on boxing..they think there are just 2 people going in the ring and smacking each other until one goes down..NO..its HARD WORK..I got hurt, I cried, I sweat, I go on painful diets, I work out 7 days a week. 3+ hours a day and on sat & sun I work up to 7 hours..its hard work..I hate it when normal people come on and make stupid comments on boxing..if you don't anything about it..don't write anything..idiots don't have a clue of how hard true boxers work and how they suffer.
