I actually got the impression that Brzezinski's intentions about China and Russia aren't military based, but more like an economic and political weakening. I think Brzezinski isn't really a military oriented guy, he's not that insane to start global wars. He's a strong critic of the violent decisions made regarding Palestine and Iraq, and also expressed concern about an Iran war.
