  • @turkeyslayer100 I believe you find them in the eastern part of the Amazon, Rio Negro and Rio Grande rivers (Brazil).

  • Some nice fish there. Wild caught more difficult to keep than tank bred and Heckels the hardest particularly to breed.

  • erm...im thinking of gettng discuses which is hardier wild or aquarium bred?

    and what their adult size? Plus if i wanna keep four discus what size tank is the best?

    PS: sorry for asking many questions

  • Hi , Thank you for your message.

    this is wild Discus , and very easy to keep.

    the best is one 200 liters tank for safe condition.

    the water parameter is

    ph= 5,00 - 6,00

    low condutivity = 20- 100 us

    high temperature = 27- 28 c

    and good water changes every 10 days.

    keep a good biological system too.

    thank you

  • Do you have a favorite specimen? or a favorite strain/color scheme/family of discus?
