  • this reminds me of my peterbilt lol

does anybody know who can build me a motor or two for my heavy haulers

one motor is a 19liter cummins aka ktta19

and other is 3408 and 3412 cats

  • definatly didnt go for looks........

  • sounds like somebody finally built a Peterworthshakin.... LOL

  • @mechanic7916 LOL !

  • it sounds terrable

  • That thing sounded pissed when it first started.

  • are you still running this truck?

  • where is the Peterbilt and Kenworth parts ?

  • my dad has a 400hp cummin C500 and twin turbo system needs

  • You makers me laughs

  • Glowers and engine heater is standard equipped in Swedish trucks!

Volvo now deliver 700hp and Scania 730hp in Sweden.

  • @harestorparen you realize of coarse how old this is right? meaning the truck

  • 6 cyl.?

  • I drove two different early Cats, I think they were a 1673 or 1674 model #, one was 220 HP, one was 245 HP, they both had a glow plug switch you held to the right for about 30 seconds before starting on a cold morning. This was in 1969, Cat motors were refitted in older KW and a Pete. Without the glow plug heat, they would not start.

  • take that muffler off if you're running 800hp

  • nice , never heard of a Peterworthliner before, lol

  • @roadwolf2 thats funny

  • nice way of putting it lol

  • @roadwolf2 or a kenpeterliner

  • new glowplugs maybe?

  • @rocker0912 Trucks don't have glow plugs

  • @MnTrucker1984 nah im pretty sure they do unless the newer models dont.

  • @rocker0912 Nope. None. From the years past to today. None of my trucks have them, and I have never seen ones that does. I drove a 76 Kenworth that has a pre heat switch but it was a intake heater.

  • @rocker0912 All trucks dont use any pre-heaters including grid heaters and glow plugs. Direct injected diesels dont need pre-heaters like pre-combustions do like the 1693 and the early 3406A.

  • @Hotrodx199 some do come with plug in block heaters if they are being operated in cold climates like the ice roads

  • @rocker0912 The NT855 is a cold blooded motor. Theres one in my Steiger Cougar 3 and if i let it idle for 30 minutes at operating temp, the engine will be cold again by the time you get in it.

  • @1973RoadRunner440 must have a damn good cooling system

  • @MattytheDem It does. Big truck radiator with a big mechanical fan running constantly. Doesn't help that the NT-855 is a cold blooded motor and that one in the steiger had 4 pistons with almost no rings left. But shes all rebuilt now and running a lot better

  • @1973RoadRunner440 seems like a good choice of motor for a really hot climate

  • @1973RoadRunner440 how the hell was it still running with burned out rings?

  • @rocker0912 thats just the way they are

  • thats badass

  • nice truck man lets here her go threw the gears must sound real good

  • Love it!
