Our Minister of Music is leaving after our Christmas concert this year after serving in this capacity for the last 10 years. She feels God is calling her to another ministry. I love when God taps us on the shoulder and says, "Come here!" and have been happy that she has heard God's call. I didn't realize how much I'll miss her until I played this song; we've sung it many times. I would never have learned it if she hadn't brought it to us. So, I'm sitting here blubbering like a 3 year old!
My dad past away July 15,2011 and I have been tryin to find some relief for my pain. I was searching Utube, browsing around and I ran across Total Praise. I listened and listened to it..Wow this song really gave me strength. Such an awesome song.

I was 25 then, by the time I hit 30 the pain eased, and now I am okay it does not hurt as much. I will tell you this, be constructive with your time, I stood still and did not move toward progression because I could not deal with the lost, move forward because JESUS is life, and life is new,fresh, and ongoing.I will pray for you. Get some counselling, REMEMBER GOD IS ON THE THROWN!

very time I listen to this song it brings back memories of my choir when we first learned the song, even before sang it for sunday service we practiced all week. the In the Lsat practice, The Holy spirit moved and the prensence of God met us in that rehearsal. It was one of the many experiences that chanced the way we sang, the we worshipedand carried our selves in general. THat song has save many a service in this country.. and all the choir directors said AMEN!
I don't understand how any human being can dislike this song. You have serious mental or emotional issues and you need to find a way to correct them. People disliking talent, MUSIC, and the flawlessness of this are just broken animals. Ugh... get with it already, and move on.
