I'm always suspicious when the guy in authority can't even pronounce the name of the active ingredient--triclopyr, not "tripoclor".
I'm a timberland owner in the Pacific Northwest and blackberries are a nightmare when managing reforested land--the thickets can go up more than 20 feet with canes as thick as your wrist. Spraying triclopyr (I use Garlon concentrate) in the fall, knocks the canes down for about a year, but they come back in force in a year or two.
i charge 25 bucks an hour to remove roots and all! Nobody wants to do this. Its a great opportunity for someone.
