  • I dont know if this is accurate or not, but ive always thought this: WWF was in the shitter when it came to ratings around this time and WCW was on top and ECW was being recognized. so in order to bring themselves up, they got more edgier, more swearing, and other things that 90s teens like, Perents got mad, thus started the infamous Attitude Era.

  • Love this theme. Does anyone have the early 90's background music they used for recapping what had happened in prior weeks. Usually used to open the shows before the main theme. Usually Vince would do a voice over to recap things...

  • i love this song SO MUCH!

  • This theme gives me some mixed feelings, the WWF was really going downhill right around this time while WCW and ECW were rapidly positioning themselves as the number one and number two companies, but still the mid 90s WWF was way WAY better than the boring, lame WWE there is today, Ezekiel Jackson is no Ahmed Johnson, Evan Bourne is no 123 Kid, Jack Swagger is no Lex Luger, Wade Barret is no British Bulldog and sure as heck John Cena IS NO Big Daddy Cool Diesel!!!

  • This Was the Theme to WWF WrestleMania The Arcade Game.

  • This was on WrestleMania; The Arcade Game and also in many video packages at the time

  • @BrickCity4eva I was thinking that as well lol

  • @madsplash It's great memorabilia

  • @madsplash the song of the New Generation!

  • The best theme!

  • Sounds like Shotgun Saturday Night

  • Anyone know where I can download this song?!

  • Im still very interested in downloading it!

  • @TungstenLion Why dont you just download it right from youtube, open the video file in an audio program and save it to mp3? That's what I do, if I want something...

    go download "downloadhelper" for firefox

  • Oh man I did not know that... Thanks!!

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • straight to my ipod.

  • How can I upload this song?!

  • I remember this theme!!

  • love the theme. So this show has been on before.

  • its an old show there just reviving it newb

  • newb? I've been watching WWE since the attitude era! sorry I was'nt old enough to watch the early years of it.

  • Oh man, this is the classic!!! This theme really embodies the spirit and youth of "The New Generation" (Hart, Michaels, Razor, Undertaker, Luger, Bigelow, Yokozuna etc.) of the mid '90's WWF! Notice the lack of old farts such as Hogan, Savage etc. from the Federation days of the '80's! This theme was also used as in-game music in "WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game along with the first "Monday Night RAW" theme from 1993. I didn't know this music was an actual "WWF Superstars" intro theme!

  • i think it was used after the games release

  • Apparently it was used for quite awhile before the game came out. Wrestlemania Arcade came out in late Summer 1995.

  • lol this sounds like an intro for some intense game show. they need to bring these kinds of intros back for tv shows, it adds a lot of excitement.

  • Yeah, like Gladiators or something.

  • this is much better than the 7th one. the 7th one is a joke. this is awesome

  • you are 100% right. I have been looking for this theme for SO long not knowing from where it was.. This rocks, and so does the video!

  • Best theme!!

  • man listening to this reminds of when i used to wake up every sat morning watching wwf superstars with my brother & dad. wwe sont relize the gems they have in themes that have yet to be released. theyre what i like to call "hidden treasures" because thats really what they r. they need to release another 3 disc anthology set, but this time let the fans decide what should be on it so that they dont put released or remixes of themes that have already been released on it like they did the 1st time

  • Best theme for Superstars

  • My favorite Superstars theme. Many thanks!

  • Yes,i watched wwf superstars of wrestling every saturday night here in Brazil.

  • Fantastic! More great memories from when the WWF meant' something! These were some good times, brings back a lot my childhood memories from the weekends when WWF Superstars aired.

  • I agree to some part.. but it still means a heck of a lot ;)

  • You are the man, been waiting for this intro for ages, keep up the good work!
