  • when its cloudy use black?

  • Roger I have a question I have lived in indiana all my life I go fishing a lot in a pond at woods edge every I fish there I can never find a good shaded area to fish I've tired spinnerbaits and crank and even plastics I really don't know how to land more bass I know that the water is dark and murky to I just to seem to know what to do anymore any advice that u can give me is very much thank full

  • @nissanmaxiumYouTub Try fishing when the bass bite best very early in the morning! start out with a topwater popper or a white senko (try the 3 inch senko). Or try just before dark with a popper or a buzzbait!

    Roger

  • Think like a bass...u are good haha

  • He has a big head bahahaha

  • hey can you make a video of you fishing in a day catching monster bass with your tecniques? they are deadly but i want to see you doing them thanks

  • this guy is cool.

  • Right on! I have family in Lake Elsinore and have wanted to make the 2 hour trip. Here in Colorado our bass don't grow that large. Plus, I want to use new techniques that I read about.

  • Is this at Casitas?

  • @Dustyone13 YES!!!!

  • Roger if your fishing murky water you would use bright colors correct? such as fire tiger? and natural colors for clear water that would be the way to go?

  • @Youngman104 Yes that is what I would do. If the water is real muddy I use painted blades too. I like chartruce or chartruce and white blades! A single colarado blad would work better then too!

    Roger

  • I would just like to thank every one for all the very kind coments!

You are the ones that keep me making more videos!

    THANK YOU! Roger

  • roger u giv some of the best advice ive heard u really break it down into detail and u know what ur talkin bout thanx for the advice

  • I havnt fished that spot much. I'll pay more attention to it! As for the reduced water level, I thought that had a negative affect on the fish. Is that not the case? May have to re-think my tactics!

  • Very informative as usual! Exbassguide, I live within walking distance from Lacamas Lake. As a green bass angler fishing Lacamas, what kind of tips/advice can you offer particular to the lake?

Keep the video's coming! We love what you do!

  • Fish the inside weed line in april and may. I Focus on fishing this lake very early in the morning! I really fish this lake hard in the fall after the pull lots of water out of the lake!!! Have you fished the pilings on the south shore?

    Roger

  • man, i cant even tell you how much help you have been to me in the past year, as far as just becoming the most knowledgeable fisherman i can. I spend all of my time watching videos like yours and i just wanna know all there is to know, and youve helped me alot. I just thought id stop by and tell ya man. your a huge help.

  • Thank You! I do this for people like you!

    Roger

  • Hey Roger I love your vids, anyway I fish at a small lake or a pond if you will and the whole thing is covered in weeds and all I pretty much use is a texas rigged senko or a tube and I was just wondering if you have any suggestions, thanks have a good one.

  • I had a question regarding spinning reels vs baitcasting reels... I have not yet fully mastered a spinning reel, and wondering if I should make the switch to baitcasting while im still somewhat new, or if I should first master the spinning reel, then move on? I like the fact that you can me really accurate with a baitcaster by slowing the bait down with your thumb as it enters the hole...

  • I think it would be better to master spinning before learning the bait casting.

I would tell you to find some one with a quality set up and ask them to let you try it out for a day or two. You will now after that how much time you need to put in to get good with a bait caster. LOTS, to be very accurate. What you learn with spinning will help some when you learn the bait caster. Good luck! Roger
