Chickens are a really tricky things to grow. Monitors, housing, food, etc. Have you all thought about opening the door and letting some air into the barn? Maybe letting the chickens get outside? The monitoring system is pretty tricky. Get yourself a big bucket, when the buckets empty fill it back up. This works for food and water. You can feed them some good organic food. You know like bugs and grass.
While the presenter knew the data and how to make it viable, he seemed less than enthusiastic about giving the presentation. Had he been more upbeat, his project would have seemed more believable, His monotone-ish delivery seemed very forced. If he doesn't believe in his product why should we?

This guy knows his stuff. I am not a livestock person, but it seems viable this project would work in other venues well.
