  • Brett micheals wannabee...horrible

  • Tuff never got what they deserved.

  • the tuff have never taken too seriously as a rock-metal, almost a parody, but very good, had to believe, and would become much more popular

  • tuff were the lamest thing to never happen... i hate the way people try to pretend these guys every had anything like a career, they were NEVER big

  • the disk of Tuff What Comes Around Goes Around, can not be found in stores is not, the internet is not,. Cornerstone of the glam metal 80 years

  • great Guitar! I have the LP! :-)

  • @Madness2802 we dont give a shit :O)

  • Fantastic.

  • I like both glam and punk rock ..but I don't get the new sleaze-thing going over here in Europe. Please, it has already been done once.

    I'm more into the 90s underground glam/sleaze scene...^^

  • This song should be rock n roll hymn :D

  • JUST LOVE TUFF THEY ROCK

  • Is it just me or did a alot of front men copy Bret Michael's look?

  • @AntiochusMegas at that time all the bands did alot of the same moves and similar looks. Also when Tuff First came out poison was still in the super glam look with all the make up

  • This track makes me want to drink and fuck... ALOT!

  • i saw tuff in concert with danger danger and yes im a 80's metal head it was way beter than the metallica and megadeth show in sweeden

  • @markc51569 Danger Danger are fucking sick, I get shit from my black metal listening friends for liking them :(

  • @markc51569

I mean, yeah, the hairbands put everything into their live shows, because their music was, as Ronnie James Dio put it, "rubbish". Metallica, Megadeth, etc. (for the most part, anyway) had music that was good enough so that merely playing the song would attract a crowd.

  • THIS IS PISH......!!!!!!!

  • see my bushy mother 45 smoke a virginia slimwhile she playz wit her bushy oldcunt!!!ie

  • TUFF SUXX

  • too bad these guys kinda missed the glam heydey.

    :(

  • the new generation sucks.. sorry guys they are all fucking idiots..

but we stay rock ! keep rocking!

  • @NickxXxL1ed

A lot of us are, yeah, but don't generalize an entire group of people. I hear a lot of my friends saying the same things about Baby Boomers, talking about how materialistic they are and how they destroyed the country. Every generation has its idiots, for mine, the idiots are the ONLY faction being marketed to, so they're the only people represented by the media. The rest of us have no voice I guess, so we just do out own thing and be cynical and laugh at the jackasses.

  • you know its good music when it lasts for years.....

  • Like glam but only AOR rules the world!!

  • Stevie Rachelle From Hell!! great band!one of my favs

  • tomorrow we perfom with them..we are Wild Ones

    check out or music

  • Neato! Yeh!

  • Song is awesome, but this video is CRAP!

  • goddamn i loved these hair band days!!!! i got a zillion great memories atleast from like, 1989 til... about the time rikki rachtman stopped playing videos from 'one of his favorite bands'!! and you could go see 3 or 4 bands for 15bucks! trixter, poison and warrant came to vegas and we totally ran into someone from every band throughout the day... i was such a infatuated 14 year old girl that i passed out in the elevator at bally's when jerry dixon stepped on..... how cool was that!?

  • and to think I use to give Todd shit and tell him "ya whatever, your gonna be a rock star....BLA BLA BLA" till our history teacher would tell us to shut up. But I DID know he was gonna make it. AND he did and thats sooo kool. YOUR the shit TODD CHAISSON, FUCK MRS COTA AND HER LAME CLASS!!!!!!!

  • todays musicians should learn from metal tuff did it right they never got the air play they deserved

  • Im 19 years old but i hate music today.....I like Glam rock,.,.,yeahhhhh

  • @TheSangojasonfrance don't say you hate todays music couse there are still few new glam bands which are awesome :D

  • @TheSangojasonfrance Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet, Babylon Bombs, Backyard Babies, The Hellacopters, Airbourne, Tokyo Dragons, Towers of London, Danko Jones...there's plenty of proper rocknroll around. Now the question is, why the fuck are half those bands from sweden? Really...i wonder what they drink up there...

  • @iteo90 well, im from sweden and everyone here loves the 80's and hair metal. (no, but it's alot of people who loves metal here)

  • fuck TUFF is forgotten shit!!!!!!!!! ROCK N ROLL forgotten

  • GENIAL GROUPE !!!

  • Fuckin great song

  • Rock 'n' Roll is communication.

  • this roxxxxxxxxxxxxxs

  • I don't think they're stricly a "pisstake" band... their songs are mainly jokes and not too serious but they've been playing that kinda music for over 20 years and they're really good at what they do =]

    I LOVE TUFF!

  • Um by the way, I was just wondering..So the singer is the owner of the website 'Metal Sludge' right??

Well....I mean; do the people that run that site even like the bands they feature??? Because they're always saying shit about Poison, Slaughter, Metallica, Sebastian Bach etc...I mean..are they being serious???

  • This is fucking awesome. Raw metal. 5 stars :)

  • skid row is the youth gone wild. YEAH !!!!! i love tuff & skid row.

  • The glam music is my favorite

  • @zer4567oi we need more ppl like u!

  • i dig bands that sing about other bands and being on the road holy cliche

  • I'm the same. I NEED a physical copy of an album!

These days, musicans just need to play basic chords but if they sing about break ups and wanting to suicide, then it's an instant hit.

And modern metal sucks, it all sounds the same and is basically just heavier emo music. Atleast older bands are pumping out good albums, still.

  • Where do you get those shirts and hats? this is my favorite band but i cant even find a cd in stores from these guys.

  • You can blame crap rap and pop music for that.

    Try itunes

  • I fucking hate hip hop and that bullshit punk. I know their on itunes but im against buying music online and i need their cd plus you know i really want a shirt. If they played this on the MTV today people would be all over this band.

  • i hate rap and pop but they honestly have nothing to do with killing rock n roll it all thanx to kert cobain or how ever his name spelled also posers like papa roach and blink 182

  • I actually like Blink 182, but yeah even though though Kurt destroy Hair Metal, Nevermind was a pretty sweet album, and HairMetal had a whole decade,

Grunge had like 3 years, Hair Metal is the victor

  • Lmfaoo You Actualy Know Fuck All, Maybe listenin a bit to much to steel panther

  • Also, Steel Panther are the real posers, theyve all got short hair except michael, its just wigs

  • no they dont well maby stixx but the rest of them all have real hair

  • Haha Ive Seen the picture dont make me ruin them for you by sendin you the link. Lexxi Foxx Looks Proper Bent

  • they're a pisstake band of course their hair is fake?

  • @toxintwins saying something like that is as ignorant as a donkey. Do u really think that 1 band alone could put an end to RnR?? Nirvana were part of grunge as many other band in that period. And btw that is just how music is...it goes forward like rock came after blues, progressive and hard after rock, metal after and so on...it's not about a single band but a much more big deal dude....and rock n roll is not dead and never will

  • I haven't been able to find any shirts either but i have found their cd's on ebay.

  • @coolioandy I see your commend is from 6 months ago but maybe you still want to know where to buy Tuff tshirts and cd's:

    check out tuffcdsD0tc0m

  • All heavy metal should come back to the 80s... pure fuckin energy and music played with heart, from hair to thrash..

  • Singer looks like Axl Rose

  • A lil bit like Bret Micheals too.

  • wasp didn't kill metal that was the record companies, after quiet riot metal was a free for all everyone got signed watch the history of metal movie , that's what happened to metal ,it had nothing to do with wasp , wasp isn't canibal corpse, or gwar , some bands made metal the way they want it to be heard and yes wasp was part of the (mtv glam hype) i thought wasp was way better than motley kiss was and gwar are my favs in that order

  • sorry sabu but wasp was part of the glam scene (i have all 5 of there albums),sorry no band member of wasp played with new york dolls, i know for a fact, wasp is a band to look up to , i still have a piece of meat signed by blackie and chris from 20 yrs ago

  • so since you know everything about metal why didn't you know wasp was a glam band?ok here is one what form of music killed metal in the 70's here in america?

  • WASP was never glam, moron. And neither were TNT, Racer X or Loudness for that matter. WASP were a heavy metal band with an emphasis on strong visuals and image. Blackie was glam when he was briefly in the New York Dolls in the mid-70's but with WASP he got way heavier musically and darker image-wise. You are a clueless dumbshit who needs a lesson in metal and music history in general. The ridiculous BS that comes out of your uneducated mouth is beyond absurd.

  • If your gonna talk shit about Glam metal please know real facts not bullshit real metal did die in 1991 due to mtv that is a fact.what people call heavy metal today is not metal its hardcore.glam rock was in the70's and has nothing to do with tuff or any of the other 80's glam metal bands if you wanna talk shit about glam rock go watch a t-rex music video

  • Moron, metal does NOT revolve around MTV! Metal was strong pre-MTV and it came back strong after MTV stopped playing metal videos. In fact, metal never went away in most parts of the world. You're clearly an American sheep who only registers what the media feeds you, and when the media told U metal was dead you believed it and 18 years after Nirvana you still moan like a little bitch instead of getting a clue. There's plenty of real metal, from Firewind, Hammerfall to Masterplan and Benedictum.

  • wow some people who leave comments on these old vids.this is 80's metal if it wasn't for 80's glam metal metal would have died with the 70's and if you were a true metalhead you would have known that what they call metal now days isn't real metal its hardcore.true metal died in 91 and thats a fact

  • I agree with you 100%!

    Keep rokking!

  • You dumbass! Metal most certainly didn't need glam rock/metal to survive in the 80's. LOL Ever heard of 80's bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Dio, Megadeth, Savatage, Armored Saint, Queensryche, Metal Church, Warrior, Accept, Riot, Crimson Glory, Anthrax, Testament, Vicious Rumors, Racer X, Malice, Loudness, TNT, WASP, Fates Warning, etcv., none of whom were glam. Nor did true metal die in '91. It's alive and well. You just need to take your head out of your ass and pay attention.

  • loudness?

    tnt?

    wasp?

    racer x?

Are you serious hahahaha you really need to shut up if it wasn't for glam metal their wouldn't of been a thrash metal movement and as far as dio and iron maiden they wouldn't have made it out of the 70's thats a fact you need to pull your head out of your ass

  • 70's glam spawned 80's thrash?! - What kind of an idiot are you? LOL

Did you ever hear Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth or Anthrax name T-Rex, Sweet, David Bowie or Gary Glitter as an influence?

These bands were influence by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (especially Diamond Head, Maiden, Venom, Jaguar, Savage, Sweet Savage, Angel Witch, etc.) early metal like Sabbath, Budgie and Priest, as well as punk like GBH and Discharge.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA So now your a fan of Glam rock make up your fucking mind and i never said it revolved around mtv dumbass and no one is crying like a bitch hahahahaha an american sheep your a dumb fuck you don't have clue what your talking about your just a little kid trying to be a know it all so please go play on a freeway

  • Love the song and still have the tape...but this video is crap!

  • they are not widely spread know in America but up in Russia i hear this was one of there favorite bands back in the 80's i'm sure they still remember them there

  • I Want My 80's Metal Back!!!

  • WTF Ever, 80's Metal, Hair Metal, Glam Metal. Call it what you will. The 80's style of rock was one the definitive era's of all time.

  • The POINT is, dude - this has got NOTHING to do with 80's METAL. This is 80's glam rock.

    BIG difference!

No true 80's metal head would've been caught dead buying/listening to crap like Tuff, Pretty Boy Floyd, Poison, and all the other shit that gave metal a bad name back then.

  • bring back 80's glam back ;)

  • Yeah Tuff had it tough they definitely weren't as mainstream as Poison or GNR all those bands...But they were AWESOME!!! Great Video!! thanks for posting..

  • ....Sleeze Beeze, Slick Toxic, Wildside, Trixter, Asfalte Ballet, Babylon AD, Roxy Blue, Disturbance, Cats in Boots, KINGOFTHEHILL, Slaughter, Winger, Mr Big, Extreme, Blackeyed Susan, Eyes, Julliet, Saints n Sinners, Let me tell you the list for me is endless...such great bands, I am glad i had great hair metal when i was in highschool. such great times...so many concerts, and lots of friends...never forget hair metal..it still lives.

  • @garypl09 im in highschool now, and all the bands you've just mentioned i listen to. i love hair metal, hard rock, and all things metal. very long and big hair to XD

  • @garypl09 You missed out Aussie Band Candy Harlots

  • PT1...I love the 80s hair metal, i got my first album...def lepp pyro in 84 and never looked back. I was 10. I loved every hair metal band...everyone from W.A.S.P, Helix, Krokus, Dokken, Y&T, Jovi, Ratt, Killer Dwarfs, Saxon, early Poison, all the way to Loudness and Junkyard. Dangerouse Toys, Cinderella...that was just through 8th grade...89. Lets not forget about the early 90s...from 91-93 or so...OMG, such great hair metal...Tuff, Heavy Bones, House of Lords, XYZ, Thunder, Hurricane Alice.

  • Who the fuck is Terry, Jim Gilette from Nitro was the original singer!!!!!!!

  • terry(fox)davis i have known that guy for years, good singer! living in arkansas now, takes care of his dad, good dude.thats who the fuck terry is.

  • Looks more like Axl Rose than Bret

  • isn't the singer Stevie Rachelle?

  • Yes it is. From Oshkosh, Wisconsin

  • I'll admit I like Tuff, but is this an "official" video?

It's terrible, you don't really even see the band. It's mostly just the crowd with some far-away shots of the band performing (probably not even this song!)

  • yes this was an official video I remember when it came out.

  • god i love the 80's

  • Oh man they're hot and it's a good song.

  • my guitar teacher was in tuff

  • man... you must really suck... j/k

  • Dude...u paid George for guitar lessons.

  • yeah seriosly

  • ur seriously lying? tell me the truth... i love tuff!

  • im not lying

  • that's pretty cool tbh. i gotta say tho that they aren't that huge, just a bit known cos of how they continued recordinga nd making tracks when all the other club-level bands finished. So it's believable cos they probably don't make a living outta the band anymore? just a serius hobby i guess...

  • wanna see live tuff check out my vids. will have more coming as i am transfering some shows for stevie. also they are available on tuff cds.

  • Comment removed

  • Terry was in the band around 85, i think.

The official singer is Steve Rachelle.

  • yeah right! after him they took Jim Gillette and later Stevie!

  • Stevi looks like a mix of Axl and Michael Monroe!?

  • he looks exactly like bret michaels

  • i thought the same thing when i watched it the first time

  • Oops, meant "wrote ABOUT" on post below

  • Damn, I remember this song! This was a bad-ass rock anthem. I loved how it gave listeners a lesson on the history of rock. I remember doing a history project in the 6th grade based off this song. I cut out pictures of artists mentioned in this song, i.e. Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi etc. and wrote aout their acheivements and work and made a timeline-diorama thingy and played the cassette single of this song as I presented it to the class. Ah, school days!

  • Pretty Boy Floyd is a hard rock band from Hollywood, California formed in 1987. They are most famous for their 1989 debut album Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz and the two singles from it; "Rock and Roll" and "I Wanna Be With You".

The band broke up in 1991, but reformed in 1995 releasing several new records since that time. They continue on today.

  • i love pretty boy floyd. rock on! 80s metal/rock/glam rock forever!

  • Hey he is married to Lita ford....lucky bastard ..

its rock n roll ,even today the don't know what music is...

  • nope, Jim gillette is married to Lita not Stave R (- the singer). Jim & CO just recorded a LP when he was in Tuff! ;)

  • my mistake...

  • oh sorry, i mean Steve

  • No he is not married to Lita Ford. She is married to Jim Gillette formerly of Nitro. Tuff's singer is Stevie Rachelle.

  • Jim Gillette is also formerly of Tuff, so perhaps where that is where that persons confusion came in. Jim was in the band before Stevie moved out to LA.

  • who calls themselves 'Tuff' ??

    haha

  • Oh how I long to be a teen of the 80s~

  • hey crazy guy ..im a bass player... lets rock it again!! hahaha

  • hey good luck,i'll be ur first fan :)

  • ive been playin guitar and singing for quite sum time

when i hit it big time

    i promise u guyz

I WILL BRING HAIR METAL BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • let us know when the first concert is Ill be there!! Rock on!!!!!

  • I´m studying the guitar as well, and I´ll bring the Hair Metal back too!!

  • probably to most beautiful lyrics in rock history

  • you two were really lucky (Y)

  • I used to play guitar with Tuff's drummer Michael "Lean" Raimondo back when we were 15-16. He went the Poison & Crue way, and I went Hanoi Rocks & NY Dolls way. Funny how things change!

  • Stevie was a friend of mine so fuckoff!

  • Cool song! ;D

  • this was the best 80s song ever written in my opinion cause he sang of the greatest bands and singers in the world like elvis presley, cooper, kiss, ozz,the stones ,bon jovi, without elvis, jerry, richie, without rock how ever it sounds there would be no music, witout 50s music thered be no 60s ,with out the 60s,no 70s without 70s no 80,s no 80's no 90's and so on!!!! rock rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you cant love todays music and not appreciate how it got here

  • HAIR BAND FOREVER!!

  • Great anthem song..salutes all the greats!!I wish I wrote it!!!

  • Tuff!!!!!!! American Hairbands!!!!!!

  • i think my 5 year old could write better lyrics that this!!! dont get me wrong i love the 80's but adding skid row is the youth gone wild, boys will be boys girls, girls, girls, what the f!!! I'm glad they only lasted for one summer!!

  • It's an anthem. Much like "Youth Gone Wild" and "Girls, Girls, Girls", I don't think you can expect the lyrics to be poetic..

In reality, Tuff were probably more talented songwriters than their contemporaries. Certainly the lyrics were, on the whole, more intelligent.

  • shut up i bet ur one of those retards who like rap stupid

  • naw, infact i hate rap long live the hair metal!!!

  • k i guess ur kool

  • naw, infact i hate rap long live the hair metal!!!

  • I remember seeing them on "Thunder and mud" a mud wrestling show hosted by Jessica Hahn

  • maravilla .. joder q{ buenos tiempos fueron los 80´s

  • Tuff was a good band to bad they never made it as big as some other bands.

  • I never thought a music history lesson could be so rockin'!

  • when i was in a band called Rippoff,we opened for Tuff at a club called the Mason Jar in Phoenix in 1989!

  • HELL YEAH 'TUFF' KICKS ASS

  • The all new generation (We're one big rocking)

Rock n. Roll is communication (Ain't no violation)

Boys will be boys. Girls, girls, girls (Scream and shout let it all out)

Singing out loud (All around the world)

i can just say;waw that is so good

    hehe;))

  • never heardof this band.. but it ROCKS!!! i love hair metal!!

  • traveled all the way from Vancouver to LA to see them play @ Gazarri's in '89...It was awesome & they were super cool guys, too!

  • these guys rock

  • these guys rock

  • give it break.its just rock nroll.thats why we support the 80s dont forget that was the shit.ur true rocker tommy. fromCT

  • this rocks, great tribute lyrics to the bands too!

  • dang stevie is pretty hot. like a mix of jani lane and bret michaels.

  • If this song came out 2 years early and the video follow the lyrics,Tuff would had a platinum album easy.

  • I love this song, but even for a standard hair metal video(band playing for crowd, showing girls in the audience etc..) this sucks. \m/\m/
