  • I FUKION HART THIS

  • whats he listening to at 4;45?

  • @pjaydk88 At 4:45 he's singing along to "Fight War, Not Wars" by Crass. I think that song was on a popular punk compilation album at the time.

  • @FriendshipTown thanx buddy

  • @pjaydk88 I got it wrong. Not by Crass, but by Anti. There's a youtube upload of it at watch?v=X_Sj35_t-8I

  • if they were my parents

id throw up on them and scream in latin

  • If they were my parents I'd kill them

  • FEAR were actually really good musicians.

  • @anvilofcrom Hell Yea! That bassist is boss!

  • the dad loves his football and probably elvis. lol

  • @tbone2872 punk goes back to 50s and 60s bubble gum rock from L.A. That's why Joey Ramone loved those bands.

  • @shrinky71 hey, a lot of the L.A. bubblegum 50s and 60s rock bands sound like the Ramones(because the ramones were copying that sound).

  • those kids will always be daddys little squirt. lofl

  • The dad is a classy dresser. Wow!

  • PUNK STARTED WITH IGGY POP AND THE RAMONES. It did not start in the UK.

  • @shrinky71 Don't forget the MC-5 and New York Dolls but American never the less. If you ever watch the documentary End of the Century about the Ramones, Joe Strummer from the Clash and Captain Sensible from the Damned both English punk Icons both said The Ramones coming and playing in london in 1974 created the british punk scene. As a 40 year old American punk rocker I've always hated the erroneous credit England gets for "creating" punk rock.

  • @tbone2872 I know, Tbone. I own that Ramones documentary. I knew that other band were involved. I just listed the first two obvious influences on the British punks. Certain Kinks songs and Keith Richards could qualify if they want to make an argument about punk being a UK thing. But the UK Punks themselves mentioned The Ramones and Iggy. Thus the reason they came to mind first.

  • @shrinky71 I wasn't saying you were wrong I was just trying to add to your arguement. And you're right everybody has an influence even if they are totally original. Even the term "Punk Rock" was coined in the US, specifically in New York. But again I wasn't trying to find fault with what you were saying I was just trying to back you up.

  • @tbone2872 Right on. I didn't take what you wrote as an argument.:-)

  • @maximus50238 true it started in america then went to england. a lot of the l.a. bands were into bubblegum rock from the early 60s and surf music so that's our version. hardcore

  • punk didnt start in england.

  • @maximus50238 Your a Retard

  • @AoDxGaming when you call someone a retard, you should at least spell the word "you're" correctly. there were plenty of punk rock bands that came earlier than most british bands. some people think of the velvet underground as some of the first pioneers of punk rock. and what about television? black flag? the ramones? new york dolls. x. all these bands started in the 70's if not before. all from the US. it makes no sense to give all the credit to england just cause that had crass and the pistols

  • @maximus50238 The correct way to spell "you're" is "yer."

  • @Christophanus bitch, your vision sucks, those aren't shaved. He's a blonde. They're their, just hard to see. Speaking of hahaha you aussies are known for screwing kangaroos. Stupid queers.

  • @gkooooz you're a fucking idiot dirthead hippie. you aint a hardcore punk rocker. hardcore punks were doing the opposite of what the hippie loser drop out heroin faggots were doing. if anything back in the day, the hardcore punks were doing speed, coke, or drinking beer(more than anything). so while you were getting buttfucked in the back alley, people were making bands and creating a DIY scene, you fucking junkie 60s loser.

  • this is bullshit--this aint punk this is fag shit---when i was punk rock i was doing dope in the back alleys of skid row i--i wasnt doing some interview on tv. all of you are punk azz hoes. this guy probably does gay gangbang videos as a hobby.

  • y the fuck did that guy shave his eyebrows????... sure shaving your head is kinda "punk" but your eyebrows, hhahahah wtf

  • @metalwarriorMCMXCIII uh oh, you sound like an internet tough guy. hahaha

  • God, these people make me embarrassed to be white.

  • @Shukria123 shut up nigger. buy some more neurons.

  • Typical drunken L.A. punks except for that one death rock freak

  • @BovartNigga You would need to grow something more than the pathetic 2 inches you got between your legs first, faggot. Ha Ha Ha

  • that girl is fucking hot! ooooh sis. hahaha

  • he was a starting quarterback...

    and she was lead cheerleader...

    now they're punks...

    hahahahahaha

  • @titosupreme99 the daughter is everything but punk...

  • @Stryker37573 eh actually wrong, she's a typical socal punk from that era. looks like one of the go gos.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork she has none of the beliefs....

  • @Stryker37573 they didn't ask her what her beliefs were and she's acting pretty rebelious here in the short time we see her. reminds me of a younger belinda carlisle.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork to bad Belinda sold out...

  • @Stryker37573 I don't know, I think the go gos just evolved into good quality hard rock that was punked up. just like billy idol did. to me that was good mainstream music, which the 80s had a lot of.

i don't think they sold out per se but you clearly disagree, so we will just have to disagree on that. I DO think they ruined one song by slowing it down. it sounded better fast when they rewrote it.

  • Social D is sure in a lot of old documentaries including this one.

  • Bahahahahahahaha

  • someday we will grow up to be well adjusted people.

  • Funny part two has a brief bit showing Social D... I was just thinking "Mommy's little monsters".. HAHAHA

  • Being punk doesn't mean being an arsehole; I don't hate my parents, I love them to death; I'm not rebelling against them cos they gave me life; I'm rebelling against the fact if you're under 25 your chances of getting a job are so slim and the fact there's still so much bigotry in this world and people just accept the status quo, but sure people don't understand it. Those kids sat with their parents in the first part of this video are fucking posers.

  • @TheHasselBoff you're so punk rock, fag

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork What the fuck do you care if I am or not, or if I'm a fag or not. TheNewMusicNetwork wow, enjoying Lady Gaga's new releases are we? Go fuck yourself you cunt.

  • @TheHasselBoff how about, No. lofl

  • Daddy talks about going through his child's personal writings in one sentence and talks about trust in the next one...Let's talk about modeling that trust mom and dad. How 'bout that instead? ...and ma'h ma'h: "diminished love?" WTF are you on about??? Also: It's so cool that the male teen is singing an Anti song and the female teen is singing Black Flag! (....was this filmed in South Bay???)

  • I bet Mom and Dad pop Lortabs and Valiums every day. But that's "medicine". They're not getting high. NOOO!

  • haha ive never been ati parent and punk isnt especially anti mother haha sure i dont get along with my mom when i show up drunk at my house or scraped from shows who gives a fuck im not a punk im a poser man a fucking poser cause im not anti parent cant help it hahaha

  • "they were a happy family who lived a quiet suburban life" ... was that the kids point of view?

  • I grew up to be a happy, well-adjusted adult hahaha!

  • What these naive parents fail to realize is: when you have so many expectations of your kids and you try to shelter them so severely, they will lash out. It isn't the musician's fault if some of these kids are too ignorant to see the satire and perspective of their lyrics, Just like I'm sure they don't blame religion for Hitler...

  • the sister ratted out her friend Tina, thats hilarious LOL

  • These kids are fucking stupid. I hate when people label themselves punk as an excuse to be complacent, freeloading assholes. If you gave a shit about the sub-culture or stood by any cause (i.e. gay rights) you wouldn't be dumbing yourself down like these kids are. Punks should be the way they are because it is a part of them, not because they want to fit in.

  • A long time ago the "Punk rock" scene was dangerous back then in Los Angeles where I grew up. It was dangerous to dress up as "punk" becos u would get your ass kicked by others particularly by cholo gang members and made fun of at school... .but now it's just a poser "trend" and accepted and commercialized by the music industry and media.

  • Punk did not start in England. Fukn Ramones were jamming since 74 and before them were The Stooges.

  • @bulgogi1212 Who gives a fuck where Punk started? It's here now, fuck argueing where it came from, enjoy it now.

  • @bulgogi1212 what about the motherfucking new york dolls

  • Without punk rock music , I probably would be in jail or prison right now. No joke I was heading down a really bad path and punk helped me see the world in a new light . I can say it was the best thing to happen in my life . I became more involved with my community and became a really nice guy .

  • ..but now in 2010 parents take their kids to buy them "punk clothes" at the shopping mall or in the internet and get their hair dyed at the poser hair stylist salon and buy them warped tour concert front row tickets for 50 dollars! woopee!

  • @mondocaneman then those spoiled kids grow out of that punk (pop-oriented) phase only to dread for acceptance by mainstream society -_- punk was never about that

  • Voice of the father in this documentary provided by Kermit the Frog.

  • My parents COULD NOT 'bridge the gap'...mom ripped up my clothes and just made them more punk, Punk WAS a rebellion aginst normality and mainstream. DC and Dischord Records ruled punk for me!!

btw the girl looks more martha and the muffinish! lol

  • New York Dolls/Stooges to Ramones to Sex Pistols to Fear!

  • lol at kid singing my war

  • What lame parents!

  • is this a JOKE?

  • first line is wrong

  • that's so fucking wrong what that dad did, he invaded his daughter's privacy by reading her diary. what kind of a parent is that?

  • isn't it weird how the girls looks like Kira from Flag? also this is complete bullshit how ignorant are some people

  • being a punk is a state of mind..i love all these tatted morons with crazy peircings and crazy hair and piercings who dont have a thought in their mind..read a book and .tattoo your soul.......... morons...

  • Ron Sr. looks more the freak than Ron Jr., today. Fit in fine at the "Psychobilly" fest, he would!

  • what a bunch of BS, this is one BS documentary...

  • now these are well adjusted adults i would love for anyone of these kids to asy a word now, if they still dress or feel the same way

  • im still into punk music, but as far as the fashion goes at 30 u look a bit stupid trying to look different and shock, even if i feel and always felt different, in the mid 90s punk still shocked believe me

  • Well adjusted adults, wtf does that mean stiff necked old people

  • its not punks vs parents its fuckin teens vs parents

  • hahahahha oi! punks with cadillacs!

  • 5:12 mike ness from social distortion and yea that father is a douche he wants his son to live the way he did and the kid doesn`t want to so leave him the fuck alone.

    PUNX UNITE

  • "This is a kid who changed from a top athlete..." Typical douche bag father who wants his kid to go in the same failed direction he went. Why not support your child and what he/she wants???

  • I'd rather my kids be into music than a sport.

  • @StickWarrior i agree

  • PUNK STARTED IN NYC !!!

  • FEAR is DEFINITELY on my top 10 band list. These parents are totally fucked but then heres their kid saying Im ant-parent? WTF? Been a punk my whole life never been anti-family. Stupid parents stupid kids.

  • @scumgod13 those kids arn't punk rockers there burnouts....

  • @Stryker37573 sorry but you're wrong. those kids are l.a. punks

  • those kids gotta be actors lol the son played football in the daughter cheerlead? wtf

  • Rhonda is listening to 'Jealous Again' by Black Flag...

  • Those parents are very scarry!!!

  • Parents take no accountability and they wonder where kids get it from. As if there was no family disfunction before punk rock. Most punkers hated Reagan. Maybe there was something to that.

  • Ron Jr. and Rhonda?

  • Those kids were actors, right? Fuckin' A!

  • I missed it, I didnt get into Punk till about 87.But Im so glad I grew up then instead of

    Brilliant.

  • punx not dead!from argentina

  • Drinking to get high?!?! HAHAHA

  • all of this is so ridiculous.. it's called being a teenager!

  • Those parents are pretty damn lame, even if the kids are a little spoiled.

  • its called bad parenting dad probubly beats them and shit.

  • Mom looks like one of those horrible Furbies from the 90's.Dad looks like a televangelist. And they wonder why they turned poser?

  • @exeuroweenie lmfaoooo yeah the dads voice is funny

  • @MileyRocksz9 Hah,since when did underage drinking, looking like a jock and an 80's hooker make you punk? Thowing in Lee Ving/Fear just made it comic.I can't believe this shit used to scare people.

  • bah everyone's a poser, any who says their into punk is a poser

  • that mom looks like an 100 year old Amy Poehler

  • That kid didnt change.

That is the biggest fucken poser family ever.

" He didnt care about anything except for maybe listning to music "

Punk isnt a fucken music scene for christ sake.

  • LOL

  • Part of it is... you never lived it so how would you know.

  • what is it?

  • omfg this is retarded

  • @ImHellsAngel Why is it retarded?

  • because those kids are such posers and also because they make it seem like all punk kids like hate there parents and want to kill everyone and do drugs and other dumb shit.

  • Ok, fair comment.

  • @ImHellsAngel

that's what punk is about doing drugs and whatever you want and killing peope

  • what the hell? No its not!

Sure drugs are a part of it [unless you are straight edge ] But sence when do punks wanna go and kill everyone? I have never heard of this before. Most punks want peace. No war.

  • not ganna lie that kid in the beggining is a creep. weirdo.

  • bullshit the ramones started punk not in the uk.

  • those kids gotta be acters cuz this is shit

  • haha the mom said loves her kids less because they're punks

  • these kids are pussies, i would kick the shit outta that bald guy, fuck that sister in the face till she squirt cum out her ears, then teabag both the parents for being so douchey

  • Sin 34 say that intro at the beginning of a song, wow I thought they had made it up. Awesome, that is really cool this is the video that inspired Sin 34 to make the song "War At Home". Check out that song, it's great!

  • can the family survive reagan fascism?? NOPE!!!

  • parents are authority figures...question authority ALWAYS......just one drink???WTF?? shove that leisure suit up yer @ss!! the parents look like typical alcoholic people in denial....the US is on its way down...

  • L.A. punk was in pretty dismal shape by this time. Most of the intelligent people who started that scene, and the bands they followed, were long gone--Claude Bessy, the Screamers, the Weirdos. Thing is, Fear had been around since 1977 and were part of that original scene, too. But by 1982, the audiences were too dumb and violent to get the joke. Punk turned into a mess when it reached the suburbs.

  • Wow, this is funny!!! What do expect when you are a disgruntled rich kid! I used to hang with theses type of kids in high school, nice houses, plently of everything!!! They changed after about a year or 2. If it's back then or nowadays, it's the same.

  • just kids dude, with no perspective I was at this show at 'THe Country Club' Feb12, 1982

  • who cares where punk started? what matters is that it happened and that it was very real, better than that crap the parents were talking about their kids; like the kids weren't even there and arn't capable of thinking for themselves.

  • Snitching on Tina was cold man, cold.

  • Now you're anti-parent? Who bought your braces, kid? I'll bet you didn't. You're an assh*le. Hey, I like punk, too, but I still have a heart.

  • No, it started in america, PRICK

  • comment below me is right, but it kinda started with the stooges influences, and a small band they listened to a lot, which were a sort of new style which didnt get very far, but influenced them to make the music that they made =P

  • PUNK DID NOT START IN ENGLAND. It started in DETROIT with The Stooges in the late 1960s... Iggy Pop is the original punker. Pere Ubu out of Cleveland a few years later; but still a couple years before The Sex Pistols. What a surprise such stark music could come out of Detroit & Cleveland. Anyone know what happened to this family?

  • dont forget NYC. it also played a big part. and Cali had hardcore and it moved from there

  • You're right. The NY scene is where Malcom McLaren got all his ideas.

McLaren went back to England with the intentions of starting a band (The Sex Pistols). He hand picked each member, dressed them, and promoted them as outlaws. McLaren was a genius marketer.

  • Its funny how punk evolved to having clean cut short hair to having dyed spiky hair

  • haha who doesnt drink to get high?!

  • fuck england. they got shit on us.

  • punk started in detroit then new york. then the u.k.

  • lol those parents are tools

  • "They're gonna drink to get high."

Twenty bucks says the first punk rock kid drives an Escalade and votes Republican now.

  • so the parents want them to grow up in their image?? a lame, boring family that does nothing but the same routine, with no goals and no inpiration that punk rock gives to everyone who is about it.. and has stayed within our punk rock scene

  • @Scarredbyage Naw, he's probably a liberal democrat and voted for Obama and works with John Kerry!

  • @Scarredbyage LMAO yup,or else a cop,probably Christian conservative,or some combination thereof.

  • oh wow this shit isssss soooooooooooooo fake haha

  • Heard this on an Anti record- fucking hilarious. We now play it, to our kids!

  • "they're gonna drink to get high". Funny shit

  • fucking brain washing shit

they hate punk cuz it shows you that you dont have to be a fucking conformist clone and that you dont have listen to bullshit from people

  • those parents are dicks

  • fuckers punk started in mighigan with the stooges and branched out thanks to the ramones. england punk is still awesome, but fuck get your facts straight

  • This

  • @DroogMonkey

    The Sonics

  • @DroogMonkey now you're talking about punkrock, which did start in the US. punk however started in the UK.

  • @nibo1980y your a kook its the same shit!!! it started in nyc .. when malcom maclaren saw the new york dolls ... he just took the fashion to the uk and started the sex pistols ...

  • @DroogMonkey Incorrect, it didn't really start in one place. Punk was huge in the late 70's in England, America, Japan, Australia, South Africa.

  • Eating paint carts?! What is that?

  • pink hearts

  • this is shit, the punk rock dont destroy families, and they are a bunch of pousers.

  • Comment removed

  • who the fuck are you to call annyone a pouser.

  • Their playing proper punk- thats good enough for me and it should be good enough for you.

  • my dads coke addiction destroyed my family. Not punk

  • THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT. " they havent found the cure for their punk yet"

  • funny - she 'grew up' and married a cop....and he is a cop

  • almost thirty years after this was made and were still here!!!!!

  • The son looks like the banjo player from Deliverance.

  • I don't get it! If you don't want to be hurt, don't read your daughters diary. Fascist fucker! He talks about his daughter drinking wine, when he probably comes home and has 20 Coors Lights. That's what my step dad did.
