In my experience, Obsidian still makes superior games to Bioware and Bethesda, and I don't know of any other RPG developers (besides CDProject) in the modern era that make any RPGs comparable to this crew.

When top-class RPG developers like Bioware and Bethesda have decided to forgo most of their RPG mechanics in favor of action-RPG lowest-common denominator bullshit, I'd say Obsidian should be noted for making RPGs.

@Redfingers BioWare created the greatest RPG Baldur's Gate II and the greatest expansion ever- Throne of Bhaal. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are great RPG too. Vile obsidian will never equal them. Damned neverwinter were the same as Sodoma and Gommorah-lots of corrupt city guards, thugs, pedophiles, fascist officials, greedy merchants. Entire city of unethical, amoral scum.
