  • His family misses him and we miss hearing his happy stories. His adoptive daughter has his name tatooed on her :0) in memory..

  • Boo passed away from heart failure this past summer. He was with his adoptive family since the last surgery and was happy and loved.

  • God love it! I absolutely hate people who are cruel to animals, children and the elderly!! Poor precious baby..Thank God you got there in time to save BOO!

  • OMG poor baby is he all better now?

  • update on boo?

  • Boo is doing great. As of 12/9/09 he is a healthy 87 pounds. He is a very gentle and loving addition to our family.

  • Boo is doing very well. Apparently he had eaten rocks to fill his belly when he was starving and it ruptured his insides and caused scar tissue to grow and it left only about 1/8th of an inch for feces to pass..Thats what caused the prolapse. He had his 3rd surgery last week and so far he is healing. They said we wont know for a few weeks if it heals on the inside there...So far so good though.

  • How would hes gonna poop if that rectal lession hurts to much??

  • Hell spend his last day with me if it is worse case scenario. Ill take him to a grassy park and give him some cheeseburgers and lots of praise and affection before he has to be put down. He will not die confused and alone with strangers. He will die loved and in my arms. Lets just hope that doesnt happen! Thanks for supporting him with good thoughts!

  • Just seen the bulletin on MySpace...Obviously the ''people'' at the Pound are as callous & guilty as this wretched boy's ''owners''....Whether he makes it or he dies in your arms, the fact remains you are the kind that makes the rest of us proud to be human & ''they'' are the lowest life-form we have the misfortune of sharing this potentially wonderful cosmos with...

Oh, that look of gratefulness in his eyes!!.

.Let's hope the scum get what they deserve..

    Pls keep us updated.

  • He had surgery yesterday and his life now depends on whether his surgery heals on the inside. They found scarring from when he ate rocks because he was starving..The rocks ruptured his colon and scar tissue built up so they had to take all that scar tissue out. Who knows how long this poor dog lived like this. So far he is doing okay but well know by Friday whether is was all for nothing.

  • He was on a low fiber weight maintenance food for a couple weeks (recommended by 2 vets) because they didnt want him to have to push too much out. They said theyd worry about weight gain when his rear had healed. This video is about 3 weeks ago. Cont...

  • This dog was brought after hours straight to a friends storage room so we could really check him out. We threw sheets on the floor so he wouldnt poop on it. Plus he smelled of feces and urine from laying in it at the pound for a week. Yes, they shouldnt have given him bones. I didnt think about that at the time. Cont....

  • So sorry to see the state he's in. I'm not sure if bones are really that good for him to eat right now. Strongly suggest you try Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete along with extra carbs to beef him up. Oatmeal cookies with peanut butter on them might be a good choice for carbs & calories for snacks. Another good product to try to add extra calories is Nutri-Cal by Tomlyn. My prayers to this boy & you.
