  • This may be cheaper than a gym membership but it certainly doesn't have the same benefits. Also, is it cheaper than a pair of dumbbells or a barbell? I think not. I think this kind of products are designed to fool people into thinking that they can get great results without doing the very hard work that is actually required.

  • @gundabalf what do you mean.. you get the same resistance... treat it as a cable machine... you can hit every muscle group with this thing you can not do lat pull downs with dumbbells or a bar. what about leg extensions.

Who says people who use home gyms do not know how to work out. Some people have kids and work long hours. with a home gym you can watch your kids and work out at the same time. You are comparing one machine to a entire gym?? think about that for a sec.

  • this is like a bin laden training video

  • very convient and much cheaper then a gym membership.

  • for some odd reason i just dont feel the burn on my biceps with this work out:/

  • having some trouble

  • GTFO MOM IM BOWFLEXING

  • @kap2z IKR

  • I'm offended too dammit!!!

  • @SAFranke83

Free weights when used consistently causes massive muscle growth. Diet , eating enough of the right foods, knowing when and how to rest contributes to the growth..but to say that free weights don't get you big, is simply not true. It's actually one of the best ways to increase the size of your muscles.

I know , because I've experienced that my self and have seen others transform their bodies completely using free weights.

  • its sad to see a mexican with a beer gut and a prison tatoo demonstrating bowflex

  • @thepacmanhimself - that's messed up but I had to laugh.

  • @thepacmanhimself hahaha

  • lol nice

  • everyone loves to put the strap on

  • I primarily use Weights ( Hex ) I do use my Bowflex on my "light" day. It does add a nice variation to my workout. I have the XTL model...

  • yea man the 210 is for wimps you gotta max the weight and put the strap

  • Actually you can get a 410 pound upgrade...the power rods lose resistance if you leave them attached the the cables though

  • Do they gain their resistance back, if you put the belt back on them?

  • @tekren6 mine has not lost its resistance yet and i am not the only one regularly using it...plus u get like a twelve year warranty so if the rods wear after uve taken care of them u could probably score replacements.

  • @RippleEffectWave u can score replacements! guys & gals most of these vids. are of amatures obviously! im 29 used free weight from 97-01 & bought a bowflex power pro xtlu with 410 lbs. res.in 02 & still workout 6 days a week.. i doubted the heck outta this thing! u gotta learn how to use it"" but its like this if it dont work bowflex will refund ur money""" so what other gym offers that? think about it!

  • the boxflex wasn't designed to make "he-man" bodys. the 210 pound total resistance was designed for making buff beach bodies. that's why personal trainers are still around lol

  • *bowflex sorry :P

  • dude ... real gym FTW !! xD its way better if u worked out in a real gym

  • i dont think that bowshit is strong enough i men i do biceps with 70 KG

  • I was an owner of a bowflex and can say that it was a pretty good HOME GYM equipment. It was great for a chest workout, but failed in other areas like biceps (as you mention here). Of course like you probably know, no fitness machine will ever mimic free weights which is what makes F.W. superior to any home gym. But, if you want a home gym that will give you a quality workout the Bowflex isn't a bad machine for the job.

  • I use both. My BowFlex Ultimate 2 is a nice piece of workout equipment and I use it daily. However I also use free weights as well. Bigger biceps you need free weights for sure.

  • ...and squeeze

  • why are you a mexican?

  • Why don't you use a real machine like the original home gym Soloflex?

  • wow seriously it hurts your ears so that's why you don't use it. what a pussy

  • I agree actually. That noise he was making holding the handle straps was almost like Styrofoam to me, which is really painful to my ears.

  • Why are you outside?

  • i ordered the extreme 2 se i cant wait to get it!! ima turn into a muscle master LOL

  • HE has no muscles

  • i got the bowflex sport and it doesnt make any noises at all its great im pretty sure its the best one

  • bowflex noise hurts my ears uuhh, stick to the gym guys

  • yea i like how he is using the 10 pounders

  • I have the Bow Flex Ultimate 2 and it has a preacher curl on it. I use it daily along with the rest of the bench

  • I WONDER IF THIS GUY GOT PAID FOR THIS

  • well ya i got the big old gym membership too, nice girls n all, but when u have a 2nd house, say a vacation house in a remote area where there are no nice gyms around, and you get the bowflex ultimate 2, way better than the one shown, with 90 exercises,,, then bowflew is the shit.

  • dude maybe some ppl cant afford a gym membership for everyone in their family who work out. and sometime ppl don't want to deal with dumbass ppl like YOU at the gym u dickhead

  • well if you cant afford a family membership thats one thing, and thats not at all what i was Talking about. owning a bowflex is like 16 dollars a month for like 3-4 years. a gym membership is $20 a month for a one year contract.

if youre single, and would rather spend money on a bowflex, treadmill, abcrunch.. thenn idk what to tell you. youre an idiot.

  • @Trackstar19912010 couldn't have said it better, some people also don't have the time

  • @Trackstar19912010 the title clearly says BOWFLEX EXERCISE, he is obviously not going to show you how to do push ups or something without a bowflex

  • haha you're gay.

  • why this bitch is showing how to to use this and he dont hav emuscles dummnass

  • i think you pressed the s instead of the g, it should say faggy

  • I tried it from a friends house. It workz. Wish I have my own.

  • dont be mad you cant afford one, its alright. dont have a heart attack, faget

  • listen BATTY BOY I HAVE A BOWFLEX AN A TOTAL GYM AND I LOVE IT PONK FUCKER I AM A JAMAICAN FASSY AND IN JAMAICA MAN KILL FASSY LIKE YOU FOR THIS COMMENT

  • you have 2, what a dumb fuck, what the hell is a ponk??? maybe you should sell one of you machines and use the money to take an english class. and what the hell does being jamaican have anything to do with it, shit head..

  • I laughed out loud. That was so good

  • can anyone tell me what model bowflex this is?? i want to get one like this.

  • It looks like a Power Pro. . . an older model.

  • Ah fuck that shit, do some squats.

  • bowflex pwns, i love mine!

  • they do, people who thumbs down are just to stupid to see how dumb they really are

  • You sir are an idiot, you obviously do not have one and i do so therefore i know more than you

  • I picked up a used bowflex power pro for $125. this used to be their top of the line model. I upgraded the resistance to 405, its tough, compact machine. I found a soloflex for $50, now I alternate beween machine every month.

  • Tell me more about the soloflex, what differences do you feel between your Bowflex and Soloflex workouts?

  • soloflex LMAO that shit was the 80's Grab some dumbells kid

  • Haha. Great video. It's amazing how many exercises you can do on the Bowflex. I use the Ultimate 2 and it has totally transformed my body. Check out my review.

  • It's amazing how many exercises you can do using some imagination, environment and some dumbbells... And you get no slow big inactive muscles but really strong and shaped to last forever...

    Spend your money wisely...

  • my bowflex is fucked up

it needed fixing since i got it i got the x2

  • bowflex is great, definitely one of the best out there. It's quite addictive if you are motivated, I've lost about 21 pounds and gained muscle using bowflex blaze

  • My dad just bought a bowflex ultimate 1 for 900$.

The guy we got the system from said he literally used it 3 times, and he gave us the invoice for the boxflex. He paid almost $2500 for it, and he gave it to us for $900. Although we did have to drive out of town for a bit before we could get it, but it was worth it.

  • Excellent video!!!! By the way I would also suggest buying a used bowflex. The reason being, most people buy them and never use them so they are brand new anyways. You will save like $200 dollars

  • jms....right on!! That's how I got mine, used and barely used. I use my Bowflex and my weights. It's a great machine. I rehabilitated a very sore, srewed-up shoulder using the Bowflex as it let me exercise hard without straining the shoulder. The 450 bucks I paid for the machine was cheaper than a doc and a trainer. I'm a believer.

  • @jms463

Try 66% off. I got an ultimate 2 WITH the ab attachment all pre-assembled for $800. It just took some dusting and WD40 on all the moving parts.

  • I got the bowflex Blaze...price was 900 dollars and man it is pretty sweet.

  • yea, i got the bowflex "sport" which is NOW called the bowflex "Blaze" haha well its a great machine

  • I recommend that you shop around and get a used Bowflex. They are certainly worth it.

  • Very helpful - many thanks for this.

  • Thanks..Keep it up..I might get bowflex..
