  • @jellyfishj1 that is epic!

  • Is Deckard a replicant?

  • @dansbananjorge

    depends on one's interpretation ...

i say yes, ridley scott says he's not sure.....

....probably not the answer you wanted....

  • @SoCalDazed scott did say in an interview , that i think you can find on youtube, that Deckard was a replicant

  • AMO ESSE FILME!!! O TEMA É O MAIS LINDO QUE CONHEÇO! A CENA FINAL,DO REPLICANTE É EMOCIONANTE,LEMBRO QUE FIQUEI EMOCIONADÍSSIMA.

  • Imagine trying to break that silence

  • its rubbish lol

  • Amazing....

  • When I watch the scene I feel myself like a human again : )

  • Rutger Hauer was cool in that one movie Tales From A Parallel Universe:Eating Pattern.

  • :-)

  • i've read hauer scripted those lines himself. you feel his wonder of life and his resignation to his fate.

  • @derail33 Yeah he did, he improvised on the soliloquy and added the lines "all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain"

  • An oustanding scene.Blade Runner can beat today s films everytime

  • Time to die..

  • I love Hauer's acting in this scene, the whole movie is just awesome!

  • 2 people had their eyes gouged out

  • Simply perfect ...

  • One of my all time favorite scenes <3

  • "I don't know why he saved my life? Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before? Not just his life, anybodies life, my life. All he wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where do I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do is just sit there and watch him die." - Rick Deckard

  • @indyclonejr I have the original..and the added narration/dialogue from decker def makes it more interesting and meaningful..am glad you quoted the words missing here..well done my friend!

  • Definition of AWESOME 1: expressive of awe; 2a: inspiring awe; 2b : terrific, extraordinary - awe·some·ly adverb - awe·some·ness noun — Related to: BLADE RUNNER.

  • You know it's truly great when no one posts dumbass comments. It's pretty much unanimous that this is awesome cinema!

  • Death is the great equalizer. Compassion for a former overpowering adversary expressed in facial and body language - more powerful than words.

  • I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in the rain. [time to die]
  • @Goagloba ..Epic!!!

  • I think it was the way Harrison looked at him at the end that really made this scene ;)

  • It's not time to give in.

    It's time to let go.

  • les larmes me sont montees aux yeux lors de ce passage!!!!! sensible ?

  • I've only seen this film once and when I saw this scene for the first time I almost cried because it was so beautiful and emotionally moving!

  • The drum beats as the doves fly upwards and away is the ultimate release.

    Masterpiece.

  • i still get chills EVERY time i watch this

  • @JessiChoke Same here O.o

  • soundtrack version HAS time to die...

    ESPER PRODUCTION version

    check it out most complete...

  • A few sentences is all it takes, but it highlights better than anything the true power of this film. Following the monumental statement of visual artistry and genre pioneering, those three sentences are the most evocative and give me shivers unlike anything else in the film. When a single sentence can give such an impression of depth to a character's history like that... it's magic that should be revered. The size and conception of the world explodes through any viewer's imagination right then.

  • brings tears to my eyes every time i see this the most touching and appropriate moment in film history .

  • i saw this movie around the same time i saw Jurassic park and Aliens for the first time . 3 films which touched my soul

  • This scene makes me wanna cry every time I watch it. For me maybe the most touching moment in film...

  • where the the fuck is TIME TO DIE. ????????

  • @garlandfornow It's the soundtrack version. It doesn't have the "time to die" line, for, in my opinion, creating a more poetic version and making it more logical for a tune. The "time to die" works only fir the movie. If you get my meaning.

  • Stunning video!

  • Tökéletes film,tökéletes zene.

A legjobb sci-fi amit valaha láttam.

  • That croak in his throat just seals the deal. When I hear him speak i feel like I am seeing the things he has seen, and felt the things he has felt. Truly a great improvisational piece of that century! This film gets better with every viewing, and that isnt just a way of saying how good the film is, it really does get better! It's amazing how a film with so many problems during delevopment turns into such a masterpiece!

It provides me with a sense of serenity and calmness yet requires intellect!

  • @Croyles Wasn't improvised as far as I know. There was a version of it in the script and Rutger Hauer took it and made into more of a 'one verse poem' as people have called it. Doesn't take away from the beauty though.

  • @Paul785 Yes, all the lines were in the script, Rutger improvised only the final line: "LIke tears in rain" ;)

  • Blade Runner is my #1 favorite movie of all times. Have seen it 100s of times and own it in all its incarnations.

  • Why did you cut the - now it's time to die - quote?

  • One of the most touching scene of all time !!!!

I still remember those words and those faces since

i first sow this movie in ...1982 ;-)

  • if you try to extrapolate this menaing it will kill you

    I Dont Mean Any Body

    At Allas

    Atomics

    Just "You"

    *nobodyelse see it*

  • Blade Runner was the most awesome movie Ridley Scott ever made. And Vangelis was and is the best ever movie music artist.

  • I prefer the cut with him saying "Time to die". I'm not sure is this is Ridley Scotts 'Directors Cut' or the original release cut?

  • @richiewoks its just the youtube video that hasn't got it in. I think it took the actual soundtrack file and put it into the video.r

  • there is nobody who dislike this awesome song !^^

  • @Jingelbells1993 impossimpible!
