Lord I sure do miss this kind of music being made anymore. Thankfully Liz and crew laid down these tracks back in the day and half the music influences out there now have them to thank for it.

It's difficult to find music as layered, textured, flowing and as emotionally written as this now.

This was what I called a climactic track when I got this CD for my 19th bday in Ketchikan, Alaska in 1986. I first bought this vinyl sampler from Beggars Banquet called THE VERTIGO SAMPLER which contained the tracks, IVO and PANDORA. I was instantly hooked to the Twins. I also was turned on to SONG TO THE SIREN by Liz from a friend who visited London in 1984. This music has transformed me to an elevated state ever since. I live in Utah now where I can enjoy two heavenly bodies of sound:)

Besides that, no, I was quite alone in the shower, except for my little Holy Joe sitting on the edge of the tub, looking through the shower curtain with a puzzled face - "why are your standing under a spray of water instead of paying attention to me?" I haven't showered with a human in some time! Oh, just me and my cats in bed, too. Their purring is quite comforting and relaxing.

Yeah, he always gets one of those cute, funny quizzical cat faces when I shower. But, my digi-cam is not waterproof, so I wouldn't be able to capture it. Also, he's almost as camera shy as I am. My Cosma Shiva is funny, too. Right after I shut off the water, she jumps in the tub, and rolls around - she loves the scent of shampoo and my patchouli soap - like it's catnip, and I guess is trying to absorb the residue. She's a beautiful little wacky girl, and smells very nice, too!

Shumster! My cats try to act independent, but the get so mad when I leave my apartment. The sit on my shoes beforehand, and then go and hide under the bed, where I find them when i come back. They aren't used to me leaving at all, so even once or twice a week is an adjustment for them. After 10 minutes or so, they emerge from hiding, and are all over me, apparently forgiven. MIne follow me everywhere inside, 'though, more like dogs. I certainly appreciate the company.

Also, they think I'm online too much, especially little Cosma, as she starts chewing on my ethernet line. I think she wants to cut off my connection to the outside world! Anyway, mine have kinda shortish brows, but love to have the eyes - especially when I clean them with moist baby toilettes. They are quite spoiled, to say the least. Oh, no flicking going on here - I can't remember my the last time I flicked!

Yeah, mine like that ear spot to be lightly rubbed, along with their jaw. Cat paws are amazing - except when they get freaked out by a noise while laying on you, and go to claws - ouch! My little Cosma Shiva has the cutest, tiniest little paws - she's so dainty - I can't belive she had kitties of her own.

A super finale to a great LP! So monumental! At times I get a definite feel of Strauss' "Also sprach Zarathustra" which may be wholly coincidental or accidental, or plain wrong, what do I know? Regardless, when the song ends, on my best headphones hooked to my MD player (I think I shall never buy an iPod or similar device), I'm totally transported, and need to regain my bearings, if I'm out on the streets, to find my way back home. A nice feeling, and I get a taste of it here, too, shum.
