@KeitoProductions1 Uhm.... no. Kurama was always supposed to be a male. He was even originally going to be in a relationship with Hiei, but Togashi decided to cut that out. The only thing that's female about him is his voice actress in in the Japanese version, Megumi Ogata. But it's normal for women to play effeminate males.

@EndlessLemons Togashi did draw a few concept sketches of him as a woman but changed his mind. that was pretty early on though! way before YYH was even produced. so, honestly, it doesn't matter anmore and I don't know why everyone is so hung up on him being a girl. he's a dude. fans need to appreciate his character. and, yeah I head that Togashi was going to pair him up with Hiei, but decided against it for various reasons (I think mostly because he wasn't sure how the audience would react).
