I'd put them in the same ballpark of hard rock, but Icon has a harder edge for sure. Paramore has 1 or 2 harder songs on their albums. The rest are usually ballads or more melodic kind of stuff. Icon is pretty straight forward hard rock in my opinion.

@nrchyintheuk they are nothing like Paramore...they carry the hard rock style through all their music! Paramore does one or 2 hard songs and the rest of the album i more mellow..ballad type stuff! Icon's debut is a solid rock album from begining to end...with no filler tracks! Every song could be the next single...which is something else u couldn't say of a Paramore album! Dont get me wrong, i like Paramore...but Icon is nothing like them!
