  • Good as always (but too short...)

Are you working on Ya Touyour يا طيور also?

  • Thanks a lot shragayofer, yes I agree it was a short clip ;)

I think Fareed Atrash already worked on that song before ! :))) yeah, maybe I will sometime

  • NICE

  • Thanks, yes I agree it was short

  • why don't you go on. its too short :)

  • Yes Nasser, I agree. But again, I just wanted to capture a small part of the melody's soul and feel...aaih...gave it a try :)

  • WOW that sounded great! do you have any idea what the fastest strumming you can do? i met the worlds fastest guitarist and he plays over 48 notes per second!

  • now I have to say WOW !!! 48 notes/sec. !! that's pretty wild :). See the whole atmosphere meant to be generated by the oud is what known in Arabic as "Tarab" (i.e, ecstacy, drunkiness of the spirit), so it is usually played very differently. It is more of a soulful instrument.

  • Short & Sweet

    Thank you Proff

  • Thanks to you vickov !

  • Send me a picture of your risha collection also, if you don't mind. thanks.

  • Sure thing projman, just email me and I'll reply back to you with the pic.

  • Splendid! What kind of risha do you use?

  • Thanks GGie4444. This is a Turkish "rough" Risha made of some sort of special polymer. It was given to me as a gift from a Turkish oudist friend. I can send you a pic of the "Rishas collection" I have for different oud playing purposes :)

  • That would be great, thank you :).

  • Very nice as usual. Always looking forward to your new stuff.

  • Thanks a lot projman
