We only had one phone line so It was difficult to coordinate times for me to log into the internet, until maybe around 2002 when we finally got cable internet as part of a package with the cable company and it changed my life!

@alexweb8 They do? I didn't know that. I actually still have my @aol.com address but I forward it to my Hotmail account. I never heard the "you've got mail" sound when I checked my mail in the past, though. Maybe my settings were set to 'off"...
