i wonder if he knows that the origin of the hijab was in india, when the invading muslim armies of 500 ad, some time around then, were marauding and raping whoever they felt like, and the poor women of that time adopted the veil to try and avoid such assaults.
now days women playing volleyball in russia step on a muslim's landmine and lose a leg. google it.
here's my point of contention: it has to be the woman's choice to wear it, not the man's choice to force her.
wooooo...this dickhead is saying it aint right for a woman to show her panties and bras....he spent his career wearing shorts and taking money for it......sexist ..i think so..
This interview took place when Ali was in the Nation of Islam, a heretical sect of Islam that follows a prophet named Elijah Muhammad, and believes black people are superior to whites. Ali was simply a racist, for a large part of his life, and a hypocrite, this interview must've been around the time he went to fight Joe Frazier in Manila, and brought his mistress, and not his wife with him. His athletic skill aside, he was simply an asshole. Just lookup the way he treated Joe Frazier.
A Christian Guy Asked a Muslim Guy: Why Do Your Females Cover Up Their Body & Hair? The Muslim Guy Smiled & Took Out 2 Sweets, He Opened One & Kept The Other One Wrapped. He Threw Them Both On The Dusty Floor & Asked The Christian: Now If I Ask You To Take One Of These Sweets, Which One Will You Choose? The Christian Replied: The Covered... one..The Muslim Guy Said: That's How We See & Respect Our Women.
Oh yes those people who walk around the beaches in america in bathing suits are savages, well put Clay. And those muslims who cut off teenage girls heads for not having their faces covered in Pakistan were polite innocent people justifying allahs will... right.
Those people are just misinterpreting and misrepresenting Islam. Islam a choice, and we've been given freewill. If people don't want to put on a covering, then they shouldn't be forced - killing someone for not wanting to do that is in no way right. However, we are told to cover for a reason and there is always wisdom behind the reasonings. So you may think it's something negative but it's a positive thing. Try and understand.
p.s. I have woken up, perhaps your ignorance just needs to sleep.
@Hydra773 A): His name is Muhammed Ali, not Clay. And he is not talking about teenage girls in Pakistan. He is talking about how he feels his wife should dress, and what he thinks about women thinking they are respected if they go and walk around halfnaked, thinking that it's freedom. Should I go and tell every Christian who preaches love, and say that, that fool Anders Breivik killed young children in cold blood? and then say: wake the fuck up..
@autokid15 I think Breivik himself stated he wasn't a Christian, but lamented the decline of Christian civilization. Considering his targets were a labour party youth group, I doubt there were many sincere or many professing christians among them. In his view the left want to dismantle Europe's christian identify for a multicultural one where Islam, as a result, has become more dominant, because it's the only religion the left considers fashionable or politically appropriate to celebrate.
you don't even have to be muslim to aggree with this muhammed ali
