So I watched this video because on my off days from the gym, which is about 4 a week. I try to get 1-2 workouts in to keep my body knowing it needs to build muscle. I'm a very skinny person I'll lose weight if a don't workout more than once a week. So I knew my pushup form was wrong because my chest doesn't swell, my shoulders do. I just did your form an it worked great. I have great bench form so I know about using your lats, but I never could incorporate it into my pushups, now I can, thx.
I was at a place for awhile where most of the guys were doing those drop-down kind of pushups, and I always knew they were wrong, they were coming down to fast and easy, the way you're doing them, there's tension on the release and the press... which I can immediately identify the same principles as good lifting, tension on both the positive and negative aspect of the move. Great form!
Started doing pushups like this after watching about a week or two ago. Wasn't using bad form exactly, like the Axl Rose, but was solely focused on chest. Better results this way for sure. Thanks,
im glad u brought this up i c this all the time in the gym an a few guys i train with elbows in isolates the chest muscles more and the tension in the traps brilliant brother good eye
Thanks so much for this vid! I've not been able to get past my BP max. Doing PU this way when I do field exercises will help get me past that plateau.
Yo thx man! I tried it and I ACTUALLY WORKED!

Great video, although it was hard to hear you with that horrible music in the background. It sounded like a seen from Hostel. Thanks for the post.
