I am a BMW driver too, I had a BMW 316 (1992), But when I want to go out to the main street, and I could not see out, because a van parked in the corner, and a bus come more then 50... but he said he came witht 40... , he broked down my car left frontier door side. And I was 2 weeks on the hospital. Lot of people drive, and park, if doesn't has another car on streets. It is disgusting. The main problems are suzuki, opel, etc, because they want to prove, that they are better then a BMW driver...

Why airbags didn't explode?

Because the crash was a minor "fender bender", not requiring Supplemental Restraint.

Deployed airbags cost many more dollars to replace than the cost of the bag itselt. Their deployment requires the replacement of dash boards, windscreens, steering columns, seats and such.

Why fire them when there is no need? That car is cheaply repaired without the bags being deployed - but a write off if the bags are triggered.

Not that badly damaged, just a new front bumper, both fenders and a hood for cosmetics, headlights look salvagable. Most likley new Radiator, Radiator bar..and thats about it. Looks to be a 98/99'.
