  • What a shame injuries have ruined his potential, he's still young but his big return season on loan at Leicester is not working out either.

  • im a man utd fan but have to say i was really looking forward to seeing more of this guy in future but sadly hes had bad injuries and no chance he play for man city with all the money winging forieners the bring in now. Forgive me im not a racist if thats what u thinking.

  • @rob14swans More than bad injuries, mental issues on top of the fact he ate all the pies.

  • @RenegadeReplicant

Seriously? What kind of mental issues? Oh so he's a fatty now is he?

  • @chuisze thats why he was sacked in the first place, look at them now, top three and in the champions league

  • i really dont know why chelsea fans are watching this video, if you like michael johnson thats great, if you dont why dont you all fuck off and watch a shitty lampard video or something, your choice.

  • @timmmss Yeah you will see him playing in City's pre-season next month, Mancini wants him in the first team as soon as he's fit cause he was so impresed by him in training.

  • Such a shame about his injuries, he could've been something huge

  • @Bilgrid95 He's fully fit now, Mancini was sayin he looked amazing in training

  • mr chobbawongo08 is thick as SH1T

  • @orville1960 thanks for not having the balls to actually reply to me, and your thick as shit as 1. you cant spell my name 2. you cant spell shit. dont reply, you'll just make yourself look like a complete arse again.

  • its sad that manc has lost all the little respect they had with their buying frenzy =/

  • haha dunne

  • What is wrong? All I get is a white screen. :/

  • Great run, great lay-on, terrific finish. Brilliant.

  • people have a go at man city all the time saying that we are 'kamikaze spending' but all united do is waste money on crap players and everyone forgets that chelsea did the same thing 6 years ago.

  • Comment removed

  • actually weve spent the 5th most in the premier league in the past 8 years, while you've spent the 2nd most only £500,000 less than chelsea, dirty scum

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 Man City bought back SWP. Enough said haha :)

  • @MrChobbaWonga08

big differece. City were relegation fodder before they got bought. Chelsea were not. United and Chelsea have success with 1/4 of what City has spent and achived what? A carling cup semi final? haha. I remember this. This was when City actually went the ENTIRE part of season after Christmas not scoring. 07 I think. Jan-May. Embarresment!

  • @boeershna i should know what happenend, the season before we got bought we got sven and he bought a load of quality players like elano and martin petrov, that was after we had stuart pearce who started off okay in 2004/05 but then time proved he was not the right man for the job, we were a good team with kevin keegan though after we got promoted, i never said it happenend the same way with chelsea and manchester united? im not embarrased either infact i enjoyed 2004/05 more than any season.

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 thing is though i felt sorry for pearce we had fuck all to spend and he spent 6mil on samaras, doing quite well for celtic but thats his level.

  • @MrAguafiesta i do agree, he usually had to buy people on frees and even when he did pull the checkbook out, it never seemed to pay off. it was a very hard job though and with the little money he had, i think his job became a lot harder when shaun wright-phillips left.

  • @boeershna chelsea might not have been in a relagation battle but they were terrible! they would never have got anywhere without abramovich

  • @ZAFARCAKE they were already a champions league team before the russian came along, I remember they finished 3rd in 1998/99, just 3 points from winning the league

  • @ZAFARCAKE

oh yes finishing 3-6 place for 7 years is absolutly awfull..what can you say about Liverpool now then?

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 difference is, Chelsea were already a top 4 team before Abramovic

  • @MrChobbaWonga08

Chelsea actually got somewhere even before Abramovich came with his huge billions

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 I've been saying that too! It's ridicules how 'forgetful' people are

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 no they dident cunt

  • @helloimearl1 didn't*

  • @XxbattlefieldxX3 Didn't* Actully.

  • @helloimearl1 your english is insulting my english is fine its just yours that is bad, what are you three?

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 Yeah but Chelsea had core players like Lampard and Terry

  • @MrChobbaWonga08 No matter who we (City) buy, we'll never buy anyone worse than Djemba Djemba.

  • he got picked in the city squad for this season so lets hope this guy will play

  • Shame he's at that mob. No longer a proper football club and slowly losing all that character

  • What happened to this guy?

  • @wwaarrddy hes had 2 really bad injurys in like 2 years so hes only played like 5 times since the 2007-08 season, shame because he could have been something big

  • go dknows where hes gonna be now that mancity are throwing money around like candy...i love this guy please move to a better club!!..w

  • isnt solo

  • a pity hes always injured.good little player

  • These day's he probably could kick like that, but there is no way in hell he could run that far, that fast without collapsing.

  • Wudnt call this solo tbh

  • Comment removed

  • I know hes injured a lot but he does have a lot of potential. Its a bit of a shame really because man city had a great youth system but i suppose you wont need to use it no more.

  • to be honest michael johnson is just as good as stephen ireland and we were going to sell ireland to sunderland for 8 mil but lucky we didnt because hes turned out to be a great player....johnson needs to sort out his injurys though

  • Give him time...he is almost through, he just will build his way back to the first 11, right now i seriously think barry should be on the bench and ireland should be instead of him, and then within the next month or so i think De jong should start making room for Johnson...then that is when we will see city winning teams by 4+ goals

  • @kzak911 ireland been shite all season mate

  • brilliant!!

    great goal :)

  • Hes a class act, id love him to come to villa park.

  • Hope he can get back on the right track. Such potential.

  • hes a porker now tho

  • very good technially and a good brain

  • can anyone tell me what happend to him? what injury?

  • as long as mark hughes is the manager, city won't get anywhere close to top 4

  • @chiusze well ive got some great mews for you buddy!

  • @chiusze gd thing they now gt roberto mancini

  • @chiusze Tell me about it...

  • @chiusze how right you were :P

  • his career's over, he's put on about 5 stones since he scored this lol

  • I really do admire Michael he's a great player once he is fully fit i hope he does play for the first team every week cause with him and ireland in the team nothing is stoping us!! He other his personal problem now and i hope he is in Mark Hughes plans!!

  • he is currently in the states getting alcy treatment.

  • he won't be as good as gerrard, but i'd have him over lucas, he'd be great for when eventually alonso departs in a couple years. But he's lost his way - injury prone at his age is never good.

    But that goal was amazing.

  • my fav player could of done with him so much this season

  • I think his career is over.

  • i hope not i think he can be better than gerrard

  • I'd love him at Spurs, we'll trade Bentley to you for him.

  • Comment removed

  • ahahahahahah well said mate bentley is so overrated this lad's got much potential

  • Welcome to the Toon :)

  • YOU WISH : )

  • I'm blaming the Andri Asharvin deal for this!

  • hes not injured you idiot hes on the piss all the time thats why he aint playin hes sufferin from depression through alchohol

  • amazing goal!

  • great quality and a sweet goal

  • come to Villa mate!

  • swap for ............ nah, come to think of it, you don't have anyone we'd like .... that's wierd typing that lol

  • And even if they did have some one we wanted we could just buy them and have both players =p

  • gone quiet for Johnno lately though hasn't it? shame really because he's a good player

  • I no cant wait for him to recover from his injury
