im a man utd fan but have to say i was really looking forward to seeing more of this guy in future but sadly hes had bad injuries and no chance he play for man city with all the money winging forieners the bring in now. Forgive me im not a racist if thats what u thinking.
i really dont know why chelsea fans are watching this video, if you like michael johnson thats great, if you dont why dont you all fuck off and watch a shitty lampard video or something, your choice.
@timmmss Yeah you will see him playing in City's pre-season next month, Mancini wants him in the first team as soon as he's fit cause he was so impresed by him in training.
@orville1960 thanks for not having the balls to actually reply to me, and your thick as shit as 1. you cant spell my name 2. you cant spell shit. dont reply, you'll just make yourself look like a complete arse again.
people have a go at man city all the time saying that we are 'kamikaze spending' but all united do is waste money on crap players and everyone forgets that chelsea did the same thing 6 years ago.
actually weve spent the 5th most in the premier league in the past 8 years, while you've spent the 2nd most only £500,000 less than chelsea, dirty scum
big differece. City were relegation fodder before they got bought. Chelsea were not. United and Chelsea have success with 1/4 of what City has spent and achived what? A carling cup semi final? haha. I remember this. This was when City actually went the ENTIRE part of season after Christmas not scoring. 07 I think. Jan-May. Embarresment!
@boeershna i should know what happenend, the season before we got bought we got sven and he bought a load of quality players like elano and martin petrov, that was after we had stuart pearce who started off okay in 2004/05 but then time proved he was not the right man for the job, we were a good team with kevin keegan though after we got promoted, i never said it happenend the same way with chelsea and manchester united? im not embarrased either infact i enjoyed 2004/05 more than any season.
@MrChobbaWonga08 thing is though i felt sorry for pearce we had fuck all to spend and he spent 6mil on samaras, doing quite well for celtic but thats his level.
@MrAguafiesta i do agree, he usually had to buy people on frees and even when he did pull the checkbook out, it never seemed to pay off. it was a very hard job though and with the little money he had, i think his job became a lot harder when shaun wright-phillips left.
@ZAFARCAKE they were already a champions league team before the russian came along, I remember they finished 3rd in 1998/99, just 3 points from winning the league
@wwaarrddy hes had 2 really bad injurys in like 2 years so hes only played like 5 times since the 2007-08 season, shame because he could have been something big
I know hes injured a lot but he does have a lot of potential. Its a bit of a shame really because man city had a great youth system but i suppose you wont need to use it no more.
to be honest michael johnson is just as good as stephen ireland and we were going to sell ireland to sunderland for 8 mil but lucky we didnt because hes turned out to be a great player....johnson needs to sort out his injurys though
Give him time...he is almost through, he just will build his way back to the first 11, right now i seriously think barry should be on the bench and ireland should be instead of him, and then within the next month or so i think De jong should start making room for Johnson...then that is when we will see city winning teams by 4+ goals
I really do admire Michael he's a great player once he is fully fit i hope he does play for the first team every week cause with him and ireland in the team nothing is stoping us!! He other his personal problem now and i hope he is in Mark Hughes plans!!
he won't be as good as gerrard, but i'd have him over lucas, he'd be great for when eventually alonso departs in a couple years. But he's lost his way - injury prone at his age is never good.
What a shame injuries have ruined his potential, he's still young but his big return season on loan at Leicester is not working out either.
