All the baits are still in the bass when I take the pictures. I always do that so there is never any questions what I use out there....enjoy .. thanks
yo man, you can find bigger bass than that in musconetcong. yes the weeds in that place are a pain in the ass but dude, the average weight for bass in there is around 4 pounds. looks like you used all lures here but toss in a medium to large shiner or herring and (with a lot of patience dur to the weeds) you will catch 4+ hawg in there
I did get 5 4 pounders in there this season...as far as the average being 4, I seriously doubt that. Since 2003, I have caught 865 largemouth in the lake, that's an average of 123 a year and only catch a few 4 and over. Plus I have used large swim baits...same results.
i got that stat from a website so i do not know accuracy.. but yeah nice fish in that messof a lake. but hey youre really big on keepin stats and stuff. do you keep like a log book or somthin???? im only 16 but big on fishing and jersey is my state so im all ears for tips and anything else you can tell me
I use a 3 ring binder from staples, get 3 ring page protectors. My page has a header for date, lake, start time and end time. Below that I have a boxed in area with columns: species, length, weight, lure color, lure type(I number them 1-8 with the key up top) spinnerbait, worm, jig etc. This way all you need is a "y" under color and the #1 circled, this meaning yellow spinnerbait, last column is time caught. Last 2 lines under that are for weather and one for remarks.
Thanks for commenting...if you play back the video, I have a header slide for each lake for the fish that follow...believe it;s Musconetcong Lake, Swartswood Lake, and Lake Hopatcong..
