I dont' know why some people say Christina has a great voice, meaning that she has a better tone than Beyoncé. I don't think it's true in the least. Christina doesn't sing with her natural tone. When she started out, she sounded completely anonymous. Me and my sister used to refer to her as to the "useless singer". Aguilera was ranked 5 in the mtv 22 Greatest voices and was the first in COVE's list of the 100 Best Pop Vocalists, Beyonce was only 7. No matter how bad her technique is, her voice is most impressive.
Beyonce might have a better technique, she is way less gifted and her voice is not original. Aguilera on most of her medium has more resonance and I like her scratchy tone on belts. Beyonce is technically better but her voice is too polished, boring in my opinion.

if some say a good voice can make a shit be a good singer, is that mean a dog can bark well can be a great singer too. obviously jorking. What i wanna say is that both of there get the element to be a wonderful singer , but no one can say either one is worse becoz of more/less gift, if you say gift is important, only mariah is a good singer ever .

But aside this, great control , nice technique , musical runs are more important indeed.
no one can say that xtina do not sing well becoz she did have a great gifted voice.

Beyonce has a better technique, thus produces a better sound. Christina has a very nice singing voice, but horrible technique so she doesn't sound very pleasant. Couple that with her unmusical runs and horrible pitch is just a zoo. She should have listened to her managers and have taken more lessons. They have both been around the same time, and Beyonce's voice is still intact.

Beyoncé blows Christina out of the water in her sleep. Christina thinks that screaming her throat off is soulful, what can I say? It's a shame, because she does have a beautiful tone, and after over 10 years of singing she should know better than to damage her voice like that. Beyoncé, on the other hands, knows her voice and how to control it and support it. She can actually do a proper vibrato, controlling its speed and amplitude with ease and polish, something I've never heard from Xtina.

And no matter what people say, Christina was ranked 58 by the rolling stones magazine in the 100 greatest singers of all time, Beyonce is not even in it. Aguilera was ranked 5 in the mtv 22 Greatest voices and was the first in COVE's list of the 100 Best Pop Vocalists, Beyonce was only 7. No matter how bad her technique is, her voice is most impressive.

Beyonce might have a better technique, she is way less gifted and her voice is not original. Aguilera on most of her medium has more resonance and I like her scratchy tone on belts. Beyonce is technically better but her voice is too polished, boring in my opinion.

@Chimier Christina until she starts being scratchy has more resonance on all her notes (especially the medium notes and medium high belts). Beyonce's tone of voice is not unique, lots of girls have that type of voice, even if "each" voice is unique". No girl has Aguilera's big fat voice LOL

But it depends on taste i believe, some like perfect technique, some others like raw power, Beyonce definitivly has great technique, all her notes are clear and polished, but she does not have raw power from what i've listenned from her.

@theoneandonly2503 Well, it's not about what it is to you. A voice either has resonance or it doesn't. Beyonce's does, Christina doesn't. So yeah, you prefer Christina's tone as you said, but there's nothing powerful about her voice. It's far too pinched and thin.

Her tone may not be great (though that's up to opinion) but she uses her voice much better than Christina does.

Anyone heard Beyoncé`s new album 4? If you have you`ll know just as well as I do that there is no competition. Bey`s vocals on this one are so raw and soulful, just bang on point and still sung with technique. AMAZING! You must get it it`s her best so far, vocally and musically!
