@Colbystrns and it kinda called me, cause I hadn' t listened to it like for a whole year, and just put it back o track two days ago. Brave Murder Day is on the same vibe, only Arkefeldt's growls are more aggressive and less pathetic (in the exact meaning of the word, not to criticize cause I love Renkse's vocals on this one). I was looking for a live performance of this but couldn't find it =(

@aigorzap23 Unfortunately Dance of December Souls is the only full length Katatonia album that sounds like this. But if you like this sound, I'd recommend getting the Brave Yester Days compilation and Rain Without End by October Tide.

@PostEchoCorp brave murder day is deth/doom. opeth lead growler singer made the growling here for the album, so its worth listening- but I prefer this kind of growling.

plus the genius lyrics! palace of frost and northern silence are the kinds of metal Id like to listen to more but so far theres only this album.

@aigorzap23 As PostEchoCorp said, sadly this is the only Katatonia full-length with this sound, but you should try to get the two EP's from this era: "Jhva Elohim Meth... The Revival" and "For Funerals To Come..." released in 1993 and 1995 respectively.
