@iintro79 depends on the body condition, to get a classic like this its gonna cost a lil or should unless tha frame and engine are both shit. its all up to the buyer on how much u'r willing to spend..i bout a 66'chevell for 2000, body an frame perfect, but i need to rebuild the engine, wich i am doin now..it was well worth it to me. so its up to you, i wouldnt feel bad bout payin around that an plan on it bein a project car unless it needed new 'everything' try an talk em down to 1200 or so

I'm gonna say no with out a rim that sits wider the the wheel well which in its self maybe an issue since you want wideness and will need a 8inch rim ... with 4 inches of back space on the needed 8 inch rim the largest I've seen that didnt rub at all are 255's installed on a 67 which was not lowered

The best advice I could give you is to go to a book store and buy a book that covers whatever car/motor you are working on. Start small, change oil, learn how to tune up/change spark plugs. when you get more exp. you could try changing the intake/carb. or pulling the distributor. Important thing is to follow the book or someone else's instructions so you don't make as many mistakes. That's all I did. Eventually I was able to rebuild that motor. Good luck.
