buuuuurpp noise is the M61a2 cannon, Hornets are practicing close air support of troops in contact. The cannon is utilised when air support is needed by ground troops in close contact where bombs and missles would be to dangerous to be utilised that close to troops, used often in Afghanistan by Aussie and co-allition fighters. Awesome noise though, want to hear better ?, search for the A-10 Warthog firing in Afghanistan.
Salt Ash is not in the flight path of a working, living, breathing military AIRBASE. It is the " war zone" area the RAAF practice their low flying, gunnery and bombing for overseas missions. Why should the communities, not only Salt Ash, safer this "war zone" when most of the of this land is uninhabitable? Go west!.
So whats your point?? If your complaining about the noise- then do something about it- like move!!! There is no way you should be eligible for any form of compensation because you made the decision to live in the flight path of a working ,living ,breathing military airbase!!!
