Hi, thx for the video! When you say 2500$ is it just for yourself or for the both of you? And did you paid this money to the agency that booked the trip for you so it's supposedly cheaper to buy it directly by yourself once in Moscow. I want to go this coming February so probably it won't be packed and I'll still find seats?! But if even the second class is that expensive maybe I'll get a third class but you happen to know if the third class still has electricity plugs and lockers?! Thanks
what direction are you going? east to west or vise versa?
we brought our own food from russia mainly canned food and anything else you can hydrate with water. plus you can buy things off the street.the russian trains are not that modern but they offer snacks and beer, the chinese trains have full lunch and dinner service and they are much more advanced. i am not sure how much money you will need but not much more than 200 dollars at the most
@markk800 Thanks for your very valuable information, just one more question please, will I be able to charge my laptop? I read on a blog that the train is proving a 48V dc sockets, is that compatible with laptops? any ideas? I am catching the train from Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia. Thanks in advance!
