Oh, and I think it's weird how everyone in high school is in Algebra I, and at my school, they put like 10 kids in my grade in Algebra I. B/c I have that class this year too.
that's because they're in advanced. In 8th grade, the advanced class is Algebra I, but the regular course for 8th grade is pre-algebra. so in 9th grade, the regular is algebra I, but the advanced is geometry. So there are a bunch of freshman in geometry too.
That's the way it was at my school, but they changed it so the regular course for 7th grade is Pre-Alg, and Algebra I is now adv. for 7th. 8th grade regular is Algebra I and 8th grade advanced is geometry :3
i know exactly what you mean about the popular kids being jocks, my school's the same, it was kinda weird because at my old school everyone was really preppy. Sounds like your freshie experience is going well! best of luck with geography, i have a biology teacher who's just like her!
i know how you mean when you wann atalk and be frineds with some one but its wierd if you just walk up to them i did that in 1st grade i just walked up to some girl at the water fountain and said wanna be friends haha okay well this i smy third comment i think im done here ttyl :)
