Greetings, could I use the Tube Cube 80 8 ohm, to go between an amp set for output impedance of 8 Ohms and guitar cabs that are wired for 4 or 16 Ohms. In other words, as an "impedance matcher"?
Can I use it with a Laney VC30 112 tube amp to have bedroom sound?

HI,
Yes, you can use any of the Tube Cube Attenuators as a buffer, connect up mismatched cabinets, multiple cabinets..etc.
The Cube will protect the amp in case of a speaker short also...however, the Cube may not survive ..at least your amp will be ok.

no, not recommended...100W amp too much umph for the 80W Cube to survive long term.

Great product! You should name a demo guitar amp attenutator. This video was hard to find. Great product though I have the 80 watt model
