technique for neutral makeup. In my opinion though, its less about the type of makeup you use and more about the colors. Nude earthy tones will always look far more natural than bright blushes, dark eyeshadows and glossy lips. DUH its not rocket science!

Even though I have really nice skin, I understand where the ladies who feel less-than-perfect without makeup on are coming from. The bare-faced makeup look doesn't work for a woman than has blemishes, lots of redness, dark circles, blackheads etc (you get the point). I don't know why, but I get totally irritated when people bag on the no-makeup makeup look. The purpose of the no-makeup makeup look is to APPEAR to look natural and yet polished; to mildly conceal flaws that you are not comfortable showing. "If you want to look natural, don't wear ANY makeup", well OK if you want to look like you just rolled out of bed then feel free but know that you aren't going to get beautiful. European women have grasped this concept a long time ago...
