  • Wow I still am listening to this song after 6 months. My top 25 all time. Music/Lyrics are timeless.

  • Dios del WEST COAST!!

    1000000000 D 1000000000000000

  • Yes, it was financial.

Most "drummers" cannot tell that "Holdin' On To Love" is programmed.

He was signed to do more of the West Coast Sound, not what was happened

on U.S. radio at the time. Jay is a freakin' Genius. I don't really expect a guy like Jay

to sound like Taylor freakin' Swift, do you? Jay Oliver is a genius.

  • On order too!!!

  • Graydon is great. A shame though this album is so heavily programmed. I miss real bass and real drums. Probably a financial problem; this kind of music isn´t hip anymore.

  • Great song, Jay is a genius!!!

  • Jay Graydon is one of the best Music producers of our time! He is sooo underrated! And so gifted...... A lot of true talented Artist and songwriters have collaborated with him..... Thanks for the gift of music that is shared from you to us!

  • Jay Graydon is a gifted guitarist and musician. He comes from a group of super artists from the 70's that has played on many of the albums that I have enjoyed over the last 35 years.

  • Jay Oliver on keyboard..:-)

  • @snorhyveln Oliver on all instruments on the track. Everything you hear is samples and synths programmed by Oliver. Vocals by Sherwood Ball.

  • Love it ! So atmospheric !

  • me too....love

  • Jay is just one of the best songwriter. This album is full of very good songs & amazing guitar parts.

The more I listen Jay the more I think he influenced a guitar player like S.Lukather. Indeed Jay was his godfather on session. Jay you're the Man

  • he is my relative and I'm a musician LOL it runs in the blood I guess :D

  • Most people don't realize what a songwriting force Jay Graydon was ... he was the Babyface of the 80's and so many of my very favorite songs were written by him. His great work buoyed the careers of Dionne Warwick, El DeBarge, Al Jarreau, and many many more, and he had an excellent voice. Also a very accomplished guitarist, I will never forget the first time I heard one of his solos, (on Gino Vannelli's "Storm At Sunup"), and it just blew me away! Really miss your work and your voice, Jay!

  • Not to mention that he did the famous guitar solo on Steely Dan's "Peg."

  • Totally Agree!

  • Fantastic.

  • Mr Jay Graydon is synonymous for great quality music. Highly appreciate this post. Bought the CD right away. Thanks!
