I used to be like that when I was twelve, but now I don't say everything I don't enjoy sucks or is crap.

So, everyone who is bashing Kaiser found this video by searching Dumble? I found it by searching Kaiser, because I'm a FAN. He doesn't make music like this all the time (Has worked with Richard Thompson, and helped him with the soundtrack to GRIZZLY MAN), and you guys are critiquing a man you know nothing about.

@theanthill1001 But who are you to say what Music is? Remember, music is just noise. Who is obnoxious enough to say that what Sonic Youth does isn't music, and that the blues is? A hundred years ago, many people thought putting a knife to your guitar strings was barbaric, but it led to slide-guitar. Henry plays music just as much as you or me. He can actually take those effects and incorporate them well, and if you don't like it, fine, but HE has the Dumble, he has the contract, and the money.

@BucksStudent *sigh* FINE. If you insist, music can be many things. I will withdraw the implication this isn't music. But if, unlike 95% of the people here you can't see that he lacks any musicality - timing, touch, tone, phrasing, sense of melody etc - just because you think he's innovative (SPOILER ALERT: HE'S NOT) then fine. Enjoy. I'm going to leave this alone forever and enjoy some ACTUALLY innovative musicians, not some grown-up kid still messing round with his toys like a15-yr old

@theanthill1001 You can't just judge him based on one video. If you've seen or own Grizzly Man on DVD, there's a "making of the soundtrack" where Henry and Richard Thompson collaborate for the film. Kaiser's playing is nothing like on this video, yet still utilizes effects. Les Claypool loves him; his music may not be for you, but you're being highly scornful. I used to be like that when I was twelve, but now I don't say everything I don't enjoy sucks or is crap.

@BucksStudent Nope. You're wrong. I can tell so much by this video. Maybe he has done some good work elsewhere. I certainly hope so, but it doesn't change what can be plainly seen here. I'm not JUST being scornful, I'm being realistic. When I said he's not innovative, it's because I know that (at least in this video) he's not, plenty have done more & better with weirder effects & ideas. And when I listed his musical shortcomings, I can easily back them up. Anyway, enjoy.

Ok- I never comment on videos but this is the worst sounding freaking guitar I can honestly say I've ever heard for someone who considers himself a player. And his blues playing- hahahahaha! get my wife drunk with my guitar and she could have sounded better. I wonder if Dumble was embarrassed?
