its decent looking, and mines black so it looks badass. compared to a new corolla or sentra, its not amazing looking, but i feel like the interior is well appointed in comparison with these two, and it drives pretty well.

plus i payed probably 5000 dollars less than i would have for other japanese brands

i just bought a 2009 kia spectra with auto radio and air. thats it. I paid 9,800 with a 300k rebate as well as a 4500 cash for clunkers.

was it too high to pay?

No way! I just did the exact same thing 3000 dollar rebate and 4500 cash for clunkers. Mine is manual though. My total net price was $7769 and I pick it up tomorrow.

@censor48 ya 9,800 for the spectra then add another 3,000 and 4500 and see the price is 17300. they have to give the rebate of 3,000 or nobody would buy this car. if you could get a corolla or civic or nissan sentra for the same price would you choose this

Just bought a 09 Spectra SX. Got a great deal with 3000 rebate. Its loaded Paid less then 16,000. No way could Honda civic do this, not loaded at any rate. The fit and finish is as good as any Toyota or Nissan and yes Honda. It has plenty of zip, and great gas mileage. Just remember the Japanese helped them with the engines and transmissions. So if you think just because they are made in Korea, they are not good. You are a fool, because they might as well be Japanese cars.
