New data editor tutorial part 1

I have a problem applying my Editor data to the actual game. I have Football Manager 2011 and I edited my data using the Database 11.2.0 Update, and when I click into that in the game menu I cant find my editor data which is called "Eric". It says 0 enabled and I have ticked the box at the bottom corner that says "Change", but my data doesnt appear in the game i.e. created players and clubs. Can somebody please help me put my data into the game? cheers

when i start a new game with the new file merged, a pop up will appear "crash dump" while loading the database...any idea about the problem??

how do i add my local team to the championship?

@TheUltimateCheez Is your local team on the game? If yes add the club into the championship and remove an existing one.

Hello! I was wondering if you can help me. I can not seem to be able to change the database. When i click on new game, rather than giving me the option of selecting a database it just loads the default one. I am doing something wrong?

If installed using the STEAM activation method the game editor can be found at:

Computer > Local Disk (C > Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > football manager 2010 > tools

where do u go 2 use the editor have found the folders but have found no way to actually edit anything!

I can't change National Stadiums for certain Nations.

For example Portugal, I change it from Estadio Nacional to Various, but when I save the edited data and start up a new game It still comes up Estadio Nacional not Various national stadia

What can I do or should I wait for another patch to correct the problem?

Ive edited a league but cant seem to get it to work in the game, The national rules i changed where Iraq but i still cant play in the Iraq league, does anyone know why please?

I the makers did not hurt it according to me,if sending teams in the new leagues may be everything true likewise smoothly then than till now,there are so many differences,That you may do a new league already.we say it in this the database this was showed only in an editor,but the bases were left in him according to me.

So countries like Faeroes, Nepal, Ethiopia, Georgia, East Timor.. will be playable, if I will make them in this new editor? Nice. :D And teams/players for such leagues could be modified in the same way as in older FM games? And one more question - if i don't know how many teams from selected country plays european competitions, and set it wrong, how will the game solve this?

what about teams and players, do you have to create them also?

Good question. Because adding new league in most of the cases means just adding its RULES, the teams with players are already there, thy're just not playable. What if someone wants to make a league of some exotic country thats has like 4 clubs in the game and 16 in reality? And how to add the clubs to the league? SI should make a tutorial about that.

You can already make teams in all the previous versions of FM and CM. It wouldn't take that long.
