I would definitely take my medical advice from a physical therapist, who has perhaps 2 years of allied health education (maybe) in addition to an undergrad degree in something else...over a doctor who spent 10-12+ years becoming one. Not shitting on physical therapists it's just...hello....they're called doctor for a reason. The reason is they passed the tests.

Physical therapists are good at what they do (better than chiropractors, but what about cancer? Pernicious anemia? Cystic fibrosis? Vehicular trauma? Best to call a doctor I'd bet, no? And if your doctor won't listen to your concerns? Maybe hire a new doctor, genius.
