the guy had the runs haha-- at Ridgefield Park, NJ CP5 the NYS&W crew went to get pizza right across the tracks lol i believe they ordered it ahead of time cuz he ran in and out while the loco was moving lol - they should make a drive-in for locomotives lol train race and CSX lol nice!!
@lespaulguy32 In Austell yes, totally NS. There are CSX tracks around Atlanta but not within 10+ miles of here, they're usually totally separated for the most part in this area. I/e not likely to see NS power on a CSX train, same with CSX on a NS train.
It happens from time to time but it's pretty rare in Austell.
@DJGENEX71 Thanks!!!!!!!! I do really wish that this line up here ran Amtrak on it,it would be alot better, except it is a pretty short line from Newark, NJ, to Allentown, PA.
Hungry lol in Bessemer,, before they did work and upgraded the ags line and got on them years ago, they would stop go to churches and hold up the crossings lol, nice, bird its always out I see. Nice catch, worn out p3 , dang he flew by him. I never saw csx on ns line here, well maybe a long time ago doing switching and saw a ns on their yard doing word but its rare I would like to see it, nice race shot lol
Nice video, Gene! Stopping at Caseys general store, Dollar General, Etc. is pretty common here. Especially when MOW's are out and about or a meet is going to take longer than expected. It's a good chance to go and talk to the crew as well! I remember when I drove one of my engineer friends to Dairy Queen while the conductor stayed on the train. It's awesome! Nice view of them racing at the end!!!!!!
@CQDX018 Thanks my friend! Yea sometimes they'll stop in Mableton and go over to the KFC as well, but this was the first time I've seen them go to the BK and stop right in the middle of the E/W line! They were cool guys, I asked them when they came by where was my burger! LOL!
