  • carl sagan was sort of this wise grandfather

  • Some other civilizations may have access to Nanocomputing, Attocomputing, Yoctocomputing, Vunktocumputing, Sotrocomputing or Nektocomputing. They may imasse many worlds in a lattus. It is amazing to think about how other intelligent minds might be or think.

  • I love this mans voice, i want a continuous loop of him saying ..."There is no God" haha

  • @xzzaaqa

I know where you can hear, "there is no God," Type in "tickle me emo." ROTFL.

  • @CheddarBob39 haha that was pretty funny, "ow ur hurting me"

  • Luv carl sagan

  • "Carl Sagan Speaks" - YA' DON'T SAY!!!

  • How to not love this motherfucker??

  • The man was a poet.

  • lov it, higlyi nfluenced me

  • TENK å dislike detta!! For noen SJUKE jævler. THIS IS AWESOME. Cosmos rocks

  • Quiet, everyone!

    Carl Sagan speaks!

  • Zeitgeist brought me here.

    Thank you, Zeitgeist Movement.

  • At 0:24 I don't think anybody understands what he means by that. (the state)

But when you do, everything will make much more sense and why it's so dangerous the path we're heading.

  • I just cannot complete my Carl Sagan Day by watching one of his most impactful and affirmative messages ever handed down to humanity. Happy Carl Sagan Day to everyone, and hope to see ya around for next year.... Enjoy!

  • Great talk! Carl Sagan was the best!

I just don't know what to do with those last words 'Carl lives on'... As if he's still alive or enjoying his afterlife somewhere else. He rejected all those supernatural and religious claims, and so should all of his fans. Unless offcouse it really ment to say 'Carl's legacy lives on', that I can agree with. :)

  • if only he'd finished this by saying............ "Mr Anderson. lol

  • Very smart man.....I wonder if he's seen any of Godfrey Reggio's "Qatsi" trilogy or Ron Fricke's works.....

  • I absolutley love Carl Sagan! He was a great man, and It's people like him that give me hope for humanity! He always told the truth to his audience and promotes scientific inquiry! Cheers to Sagan and anyone who used to watch him!!!

  • Carl Sagan was so ahead of his time. I feel privileged to understand his ultimate message. That ultimate message is beyond nationality or humanity, but life on earth itself. Far as we know we are know it: we are the only universe's understanding of itself. It would be a shame to let that go to waste. Let us think beyond race, religion, nationality, or politics, but as one species speaking for life on this pale blue dot. We are all connected to someone in some way, no matter who are.

  • @SPRoubi2020 Carl Sagan, a phony a fake and a fraud was nothing but a mouthpiece for NASA and the govt. In his early years he use to travel around the country trying to discredit and shame the great Immanuel Velikovsky whose theories about world wide catastrophes are now accepted by the scientific community as well established. May you rot in hell Carl Sagan.

  • @tjrxk7 First of all: Sagan is not rotting in hell because hell doesn't exist. Along with that: Immanuel Velikovsky was pure bat shit and Sagan was successful and justified in discrediting him, and Immanuel Velikovsky's views are not accepted by the scientific community. So big deal if Sagan were a mouthpiece for NASA. I don't have a problem with government spending my tax dollars on scientific research.

  • Comment removed

  • @SPRoubi2020 The remark about hell was just an expression of my disgust with Sagan. FYI Velikovsky opened the door to our burried collective memories by regarding the testimony of ancient peoples as credible evidence for unusual natural events in our past. He was a breath of fresh air. IMO 'Science' has confined its' labors to superficial descriptions,not the elucidation of the fundamental causes of phenomena......{and I'm being charitable}

  • @tjrxk7 Immanuel Velikovsky's views have been dismissed, debunked, and rejected by credible scientist. As far as "elucidation of the fundamental causes of phenomena", science does a good job of that in my opinion. If you mean "fundamental causes" as something of supernatural in origin, well science is about the explanation of natural phenomena, not supernatural. If NASA is a fraud by giving us instant world-wide communication, weather satellites, smaller, faster computers, then I like it.

  • @SPRoubi2020 If you mean "fundamental causes" as something of supernatural in origin,..." I certainly do NOT mean that. I mean the way orthodox science is not unlike orthodox religion in that it jealously gaurds what 'theories' they have accepted and teach in their schools of higher learning. We sedulously inculcate in the comming generations exactly the same ill-placed confidence in existing institutions and prevailing notions that have brought the world to the pass in which we find it.

  • @tjrxk7 No we don't. Science is about evidence, and religion is based on belief without evidence. Science is a self-correcting process and theories are discarded if they don't fit the evidence. Some theories of science are so solid that the evidence of disproof is near impossible. Maybe science has become a victim of it's own success and it can seem orthodoxy in belief of theories based on the evidence. But if evidence comes around for disproof, then we won't teach it or believe it.

  • @SPRoubi2020

"Science is about evidence, and religion is based on belief without evidence."

Yeah, to some degree. I am sure not all religious people "literally" believe in the religion. But they see it more as a mythology. A book of wisdom. But from my personal experience religion is mostly BS. Because it has a lot of outrageous claims and it seems to have an idea that life is supposed to be a certain way and humans are supposed to be a certain way. When in reality...

  • @SPRoubi2020

...life just is as it is. And it seems the more you accept that the more your life comes together. Religion instills fear and guilt into people. And basically f***'s up peoples minds. ( :

  • @SPRoubi2020

Let us boldly go where no one has gone before.

  • @SPRoubi2020

You and me, not just me. But you and me, lets boldy go where no one has gone before. I am inviting you. Heck, I AM INVITING ALL OF YOU!!! Dreamers. Come dream with me. ( : Let's go one this journey.

  • You can tell he was getting an absolute kick out of that "citadel of stars" quote haha I love this man

  • god damn pneumonia

  • Sagan knew one thing: The ultimate survival of mankind depends on, eventually, getting off the planet.

  • So, how about these pointless YouTube exercises in scur -- err, debates*? And oh, how conspicuous the trolling is.

Carl Sagan was a man of great inspiration. It's really quite a shame I've never really acknowledged him until recently.

  • When I hear this man speek i know there is hope, sometimes i agree with Kafka, hope but not for us. The sad comments here ............so low brow it hurts.

  • I dream about this(extraterrestrial civilizations).And sometimes it is a bad dream.

  • @BloodyLisBeth but some are good i hope!

  • @BloodyLisBeth E.T life wouldn't be capable of hatred or interested in the destruction of the worlds. They too would be just like us, made from Star stuff =)

  • @paulioni613 as a matter of fact,we can consider ourselves ET for the OTHERS.created from the same SCRAPES,but maybe developed differently.on this little sphere, from a tiny fountain of 20000 genomes(these are the newest informations of genetics)we spread to over 6 billions ,everybody unique.basically 3-4 races;but always the shock of meeting new civilizations meant hatred, intolerance and WAR.now we're all"civilized and tolerant" on the surface...I'm so glad to see you so optimistic,I JUST CAN'T

  • @BloodyLisBeth As a matter of fact, I'm not that stupid as you think. You don't have to preach to the choir. I study physics and Astrophysics, We are all related to the stars, and the earth. We are not unique at certain levels, yes we are all human with different genetics but we are all made of the same "stuff" weather you like it or not. The human ego is part of the problem with what you're talking about. The ego is separate from body and mind. A protective barrier is what i like to call it.

  • @BloodyLisBeth I'm not sure where you're going with your sarcasm because i agree with you. If you're so worried about E.T life invading earth why dont you go outside and watch the skys? After 7+ years of being outside almost everyday watching the stars you will notice friendly little spacecrafts not of this earth watching us. If you believe me or not i could care less, because facts are facts I seen u.f.os 5times and it is clearly evident if they intended harm they would. Stop being stupid.

  • @paulioni613 never said I DON'T believe something weird is going in the outher limits...Why didn't we "return"on visiting the Moon? Why didn't we go to Mars,at least?Let me be stupid, but I think something(SOMEONE)IS NOT letting us travel freely.and that's my fear:they are ways much powerful than us.by the bye, what are you doing for 7+ years out?simple curiosity...sorry!

  • @BloodyLisBeth We didn't return, because the people in control of the world, mostly jews dont see the sense in it as they are all in it for short term profits and could care less if the human race dies out. I'm sure you have heard " I dont care, i wont be alive....." before? That is the mentality of most rich nations and having moved to America, Americans are that way. I spent the 7+ years outside with a telescope., also when i was younger i used to sell drugs and would be outside a lot.

  • Fantastically true.

  • I don't think he is kidding.

  • Hmmmm...1,919 likes, 25 dislikes

Proof that more intelligent people know how to make "teh enternetz gow" than not. Fools. Get off this vid if you don't like Sagan, and go drown yourselves in fundamentalism. Crash and burn on your own...you're not welcomed here. Kthxbai.

  • @InfamousShroom "An atheist has to know a lot more than I know. An atheist is someone who knows there is no god. By some definitions atheism is very stupid."[ Dr. Sagan]

  • @1billion1deaths1 Right on. The more I see in nature, science, and math; the more I agree that there must me someone, someTHING running the show. I don't proclaim to know what that is; but it's there.

  • @InfamousShroom It's the universe conscious of itself. Light is a form of consciousness, If you really saw more things in the science, nature and mathematics of what you're talking about you would know that everything is made of light. This form of light is vibrating at a different level to form matter, If you ever have the chance to have an O.B.E you will notice we are God, we just choose to believe in the mundane existence of this life, material objects, money, and greed.

  • @paulioni613 Sorry, my email tracks comments and when I attempted to link to it, Google claimed it no longer existed. Bleh. Oh well, as I stated in an email to you, I very much agree with your statement. Have you ever read 2010? Very interesting, and relevant to your topic of conversation. I enjoyed it quite thoroughly. And no, I'm not slamming it for being fiction. I quite respect science fiction....it's only leaps away from becoming science FACT. Again, that doesn't mean there is no God...

  • Comment removed

  • @InfamousShroom why thank u sir

  • Why can't we just elect astronomers and scientists to public office? Obviously they see things clearly. None of this planet bound drama means a thing in the big picture. It sickens me that such a phenomenal scientist and philosopher was never given a chance to really orient humanity in the proper way. I suspect things would be much better now had he been given the chance.

  • Carl Sagan will live on forever :')

  • 25 illiterate had watched this wonderful video!

  • This should have been called Carl Sagan on prolife.

  • Why does he claim that ethnic identidies do not matter? Many wise men share the opinion that ethnic identidy and diversity in the human genome is a blessing which enriches the world and enhances our experience on it. Why do you think so many people find history an interesting subject?

  • @Isleifur90 The main adjective is 'Fanatic'. But even if you disagree, how exactly do phenotypical and cultural differences separate any human from another despite our genotypes being near identical? The fact is, we should be engineering our genes, understanding every history and thought of every culture past and present, and doing the right thing not for ourselves, but for all life on this planet if we stand any chance of existence in the not so far future. My first post, hope I'm not rude!

  • @Username7909

Phenotypical and cultural differences are so incredibly different and diverse, especially between races. That is why it is so hard for different races to correlate with eacother in multi racial soceties. To claim we can suddenly put aside our differences and unite just like that is childish. The way to true unity is that every culture and ethnic group should have the rights to express their own lifestyle in peace.

  • @Isleifur90

I hear you. I didn't mean to sound as if everyone should be a generic example. I mean, variety is the spice of life of course. But besides those skin deep and cultural differences, we're all human and we all share the same feelings and needs. We just need to put aside those differences and think of the big picture, and not give up on who we are.

  • Astronomy -3

  • This bitter, presumptious Sagan is not the Sagan I admired growing up. First, he suggests that concepts he does not like (religion, authority) cause problems and that these problems will cause a massive collapse.

Then he gives quasi religious zion or Garden of Eden qualiites to the "Cosmos". Reaching for the mystical cosmos will solve all problems. In short, Sagan substitutes "Cosmos" for "religion" yet claimed directly or indiirectly that religious people are the source of the problems.

  • @Wanderer359 Wrong...Sagan is spiritual, not religious. Big difference.

  • @HybridD91 I wouldn't even say Sagan is spiritual, he just holds a tremendous admiration and wonder for the mysteries of the universe. To say he's 'spiritual' implies that he subscribes to the belief in an intangible or supernatural world, which he doesn't (didn't). Essentially, all Carl Sagan was was simply a scientist with a penchant for emotive language

  • So True, he would always live on.

  • Sagan's words are truly poetic, they describe what most sensible people feel intuitively but have never been able to express this beautifully.

  • @Rookmang win

  • Sagan is the man!

  • The major joy we humans have is knowing that Carl Sagan was a person who lived on Earth. We have him Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and so many other brilliant men and women, to even children who can inspire this world. Carl Sagan was a giant while being so humble. To the people who can not respect Carl Sagan and the words he spoke, I feel sorry for you. You have failed to realize we humans are all the same on one Earth, and we who know this fact are reaching for the stars.

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup Well said

  • @OldEvilEye1280 Thank you so friend of the Universe.

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup Fuck Stephen Hawking. That dude is GROSSLY overrated.

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup .Great statement indeed..Carl sagen was one of the greatest human beings ever to walk the planet!!!

  • 25 people are pee-brains, god bless Carl Sagan, may he rest in peace knowing that his speeches inspired people like me and you to venture beyond our-selfs to solve the mysteryies of the galixy

  • @Rookmang wow dude, you got every single one of those right, except G-d.

  • best response to the horrible people that disliked this.

  • @Rookmang

This is a fella who speaks the truth. We have been lied to all our lives, and the lie is simple.

"Other people are different to you".

  • Carl Sagan Speaks.

    Humanity better damn listen.

  • What the hell is wrong with those (to date) 25 thumbs-downers?? Go away! Sagan was a genius!

  • When Carl Sagan speaks...you listen!!

  • proof that cannabis makes you smart! thank you, Mr. Sagan....

  • I love how beautiful he describes life. His view, though secular, is more awe-inspring than any theology I've heard.

  • @kcutdxela I prefer Jesus to ten billions of his kind.

  • @MegaSage007

you prefer a made up guy that died for no reason lolz.

  • @soadpwnsyou Carl Sagan certainly can't save you from your sins.

  • @MegaSage007 I know. No one can "save" you from your sins. Jesus doesn't do fucking shit, he was a random ass dude back in the day. As long as you don't do anything evil, you don't have to worry about nothing. Sex before marriage isn't bad. Cursing isn't bad. Masturbating isn't bad. Homosexuality isn't bad. Having sex with a girl on her period isn't bad. Bible = retarded fiction But I guess your imaginary friend says it is bad, so you believe him. And then you ask him for forgiveness.
  • @soadpwnsyou You love death and not life and have reduced yourself to a brute beast walking around on two legs with no more sense than a billy goat.

  • @MegaSage007

I love death? I would be dead.

I am a brute beast walking around with no more sense than a bill goat? I would believe in a religion and go around forcing it down people's throats.

People that follow religions are blind, stupid, and are afraid of everything.

You believe in something that has 0 proof. You believe in bigotry towards other people.

You are the blind sheep, goat, etc. Religion is bullshit.

    This is 100% fact.

  • @soadpwnsyou There is a Universe full of designer evidence an Omnipotent Infintely Wise Creater created it, and is free from entanglements of operating it while lower intelligent mankind invents a car, has to operate it, refuel it, and service & maintenance it; God puts vehicles in orbit and is free from entanglements from his inventions.

You are simply a bad tooth he will get around to pulling and throwing in the trash can.

  • @MegaSage007

There is a Universe full of designer evidence? lol.

Only idiots think that everything has to be created by something, except for god.

No magic being created the universe.

I am a bad tooth and God is going to kill me? Well then your imaginary god is an asshole and fucking faggot.

There is no proof of God. The universe is not proof of God. The universe is proof that there is a universe.

    Nothing created it.

You are a blind sheep and hope you stop being stupid.

  • @soadpwnsyou Yes, you are a rotten tooth the Dentist will not want to save. Rotten to the core.

  • @MegaSage007

Lol rotten tooth, do you believe in the tooth fairy too.

I am doing more good than you. You are going around saying that people are going to be killed by your god.

You are evil and so is your religion.

  • @soadpwnsyou It is impossible for your kind to do good.

  • @MegaSage007

    Oh you are dumb.

How is it impossible not to do good?

  • @soadpwnsyou Read Romans 1:28/32 if you are really interested to know. It is a description by St Paul of what a reprobate is and is a mirror reflection of who you are.

  • @MegaSage007

    The bible is fiction.

The bible also says to kill people that marry and are not virgins.

The bible says to kill homosexuals.

The bible says to kill people who strike their father.

The bible says to kill witches.

The bible says unicorns are real.

The bible is fiction, why would I believe a work of fiction to be true?

    You are evil.

  • @soadpwnsyou Thankyou for the compliment. When a reprobate calls me evil, I know I am righteous.

  • @MegaSage007

You aren't righteous. You are evil.

That is 100% fact. If there was a god, which there isn't, he would send you to hell.

You are a failure to the human race and your religion.

  • @soadpwnsyou You're wrong again and will probably be wrong the rest of your life. I am righteously taking the time to warn wicked you to repent of your sins and get baptised in the holy Ghost while everyone else is busy feasting on Easter food and chit chat.

  • @MegaSage007

I am not sinning, I don't need to repent.

God, Jesus and the holly spirit aren't real.

There is no proof of them or need of them.

They are for scared and easily fooled individuals like yourself.

    Please stop being an asshole.

  • @soadpwnsyou Where did you get your magical metaphysical broom to sweep God away? The fraudulent BBt. The imaginary Evolution of mankind from an Amoeba or was it the FSM?

  • @MegaSage007

lol you say Evolution is imaginary.

While you believe everything was created from dirt by magic.

Evolution is fact, but religious people deny it because it disproves your god. Which it already has.

Have fun with your retarded lies.

  • @MegaSage007 If you read a bit of history, it's quite obvious that the concept of the trinity was created by the clergy.

  • RIP ED

  • HaHa Agent Smith

  • Notice he never went against belief of any kind, rather the fanaticism of that belief. I hate it when Evangelical Atheists use Sagan as a poster boy, their own anti Billy Graham, it delineates everything he says. People use him and what he says to hate (yes HATE) on individuals who are religious, paint even the more enlightened ones as ignorant, idiotic. The true irony is that this is never what he wanted. He wanted people to open their minds, be they religious, or non, to the possibilities.

  • @THX1449 Evangelical Atheists? I hope you're trolling.

Sagan referred to belief in a god as a delusion, many times. Sagan wanted people to enjoy the wonders of the universe, not continue to destroy ourselves--with the contribution of primitive doctrines and dogmas.

  • @inswoon Evangelical Atheists. The "I don't believe in God and nobody else shouldn't" to the Christian "I believe in God and everyone else should". If someone's personal or intellectual worth is verbally diminished simply because of their beliefs, as many (not all) outspoken atheists are more than happy to do, there's no difference. Sagan stated his beliefs (or lack) clearly and poignantly. But he never attacked anothers faith. There's a big difference between personal statements and invective.

  • @THX1449 I've never came across anybody like that. Evangelical denotes Protestant Christianity emphasizing the authority of the Bible, thus a self-refuting phrase and negating their own belief or disbelief. So, you've clearly made that up. You're stereotyping already and I will have none of it - I've never came across a pleasant Christian online (only Muslims), mock all you like, but that's getting you nowhere. Lastly, I never insinuated that Sagan attacked anybodies faith, he simply [cont.]

  • @THX1449 [cont.] labelled it as a delusion. What does the last part of your comment relate to? Nothing - so, you don't need to put it in. Quite inane? Yes.

  • @inswoon I never for once thought you said that Sagan attacked anybody's faith. I merely stated that I've put up with tons of people using him as a way to insult religion when he did nothing of the sort. I'm sorry if I have nothing to go on but how I have been treated as a religious person by outspoken atheists, and it has been similar in both action and tone to the people in my church who think I shouldn't wear jeans on Sunday. I'm sorry if I put the two together. They may not be the same [cont

  • @THX1449 to you, but after putting up with attitudes like that for so long, one would see a common theme of "because I believe (or don't believe) in this, you should/shouldn't as well, and you're an idiot to think otherwise."

  • @gossamery I say good sir I do agree

  • Carl Sagan? Oh, he ALWAYS say dat.

  • when carl sagan speaks you listen, take notes and learn :).

  • idiots who dislike this video never smoked weed before....stop being a bitch and take the red pill....fuckin drones out there blinded by bullshit....stimulate your goddamn mind

  • 24 Christians

  • I'd trade a world population of fundies to bring this wonderful man back.

  • ~I love this man because he made it simple for us to understand what he tried to tell us...he was a Great scientist and I for one will never forget what he taught us I have all 13 episodes of the cosmos and I love everyone of them..RIP~Carl Sagan....Most of all thank you for trying to help us understand peace and how to live instead of hurting eachother which anyone can do it takes a good mind to love and to help and take care of others and I am going to always try to be this way thank you Carl,

  • yay for the potheads!

  • I'm a straight alpha-male, and I'd have gone gay for Sagan.

  • @smartwarlord

I totally share your position. I had to lol when I read your post because some years ago I said the exact same thing to a strongly religious person whom was homophobic. His reaction was priceless.

  • Carl Sagan is extraordinary, I like your knowledge, is historic and d'acord with him.

  • Estas palavras ainda estão actualizadas!

  • Nothing came from nothing and nothing happened because of nothing.

  • @brenchtoast44 Everything came from everything and everything happened because of everything.

  • @TheWoodenKnight Everything came from nothing and everything happened because of something.

  • Word Carl... word...

  • I think this guy is an alien. After seeing a bunch of dumb-ass, racist, redneck assholes I can't possibly believe that Carl and them are of the same species.

  • @inretorisk Sir, Mr Carl Sagan is a Russian Jewish so he is not the same with them :-)

  • @inretorisk The man definitely was in a class all of his own. When you compare him to some other people you really do wonder: did these people descend from the same ancestors? Professor Sagan was out of this world fabulous. It never ceases to amaze me how we can have such a wealth of bad, BAD leaders and examples and so precious few truly inspiring people. What are we doing wrong here?

  • @wowthungsten

Well I´m afraid I only have 500 letters to explain what´s wrong. To make a summary: Almost everything.

  • @wowthungsten We degenerate ourselves with media like Springer, we breed hate into our children, we kill for nothing, we allow bad genetic traits to pass from generation to generation (yeah i know how bad that sounds) we generalize, we dont delve deeper into topics of intellectual presuit, we are lazy, we are happy to wallow in our own misery, we are self centered, we dominate everything around us, we eventually destroy everything around us, we use up all natural resources. And im out of letters

  • @OldEvilEye1280 LoL "And I'm out of letters."

Trust me their truly is more to say, but you have summed up the hatred well enough. Now to give the words of hope for the children of the planet and the stars.

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup How's this... My father was a drunken, abusive asshole that would beat the crap out of my and my sister for little more then presuming I was lieing to him about someone in class cutting my hair. He cheated on my mother, he interfeared in all the good decisions i made in life to make something of myself simply because he was loosing and in fact lost control of me. What he taught me was what NOT to do, how NOT to be. Theres my idea of hope for the future..

  • @OldEvilEye1280 I am horribly sad for you everyone's life in some aspect has been a living hell. My mother regularly beat me for no reason, and found joy in it. My first attempt at tying my shoes my mother slapped me hard in the head three times, then kept hitting me every time I messed up. Then when she got so frustrated she punched me in the chest and said "I don't have time for this sh__!"

  • @OldEvilEye1280 Part 2 Yes our parents screw us over, and they have made horrible decisions with hurting us, and they shouldn't have! But we can learn to not follow our abusive parents, no child should be abused, every child is a precious gift on the Earth, and all they want to do is learn. As we understand that it is not good to do the same harm our parents did, then we learn that we should make everyone happy to not feel pain. So their is a hopeful future. For we will want it to be better. End

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup That prehaps we wont completly destroy what is left, and that future generations will NOT do the things we do.

  • @OldEvilEye1280 There you go you brilliant person *hugs warmly* It is true, if we do not learn of history, then we will repeat our mistakes.

  • @OldEvilEye1280 ...and then there's hopelessly negative people like you who perpetuate the negative cycle. There's just as much good in this world as there is bad, you just have to know where to look.

  • @ryandood Golly, im so very glad your life is nothing but roses and sunshine lol. It's not that i don't see the good in this world as well, but if you bothered to read the full conversation, the man asked what was wrong with this world. I'm basically trying to, in a tactful way, tell you to fuck off, but alas one escapes me, so... fuck off.

  • @OldEvilEye1280 I know of the negativity of the Earth (Well society) I have saved 20 people from suicide, and 18 from drugs and alcohol. That was when I was 13 to 16, I am 17 from recently. I was telling you that we should learn from mistakes, to grow better. Even if it is from a terrible humans mistakes, like Adolf Hitler's mistakes. Or Julius Caesar's mistakes. Dan White(killer of Harvey Milk), The Westboro Church members, Nathuram Godse(killer of Mohandis Gandhi.) Learn from mistakes.

  • @OldEvilEye1280 End: So that you and others may become better, to better the Earth, and so others know what is right. Murdering is not right, harming others is not right, bullying people is not right. We have a short time on this Earth and we can either make it grow so others may know your name, and put you along side the brilliant minds that formed ideas of prosperity, or become the leaders of war. To stop Earth's advancements for a new bright age. The Earth needs help. You all are needed.

  • @TheTruthSeekersGroup Cant argue with any of that.

Altruism is the renunciation of the self, and an exclusive concern for the welfare of others. It is a traditional virtue in many cultures, and a core aspect of various religious traditions, though the concept of 'others' toward whom concern should be directed can vary among religions. Altruism is the opposite of selfishness

  • @inretorisk hahaha I feel like an alien for the same reasons.

  • @inretorisk I second that.

  • @Rookmang Hey, leave Jesus out of this! As an avid atheist, who isn't even entirely convinced the man even existed, based on his alleged actions and speeches, the man was legions ahead of his time, and even ahead of his supposed followers of today. He may have been a bit of a mystic, but he was certainly far more of a complete human being than any "Christian" I have met today!
