I haven't actually measured the GPU and CPU temp. All I can say is that the metal case of the power supply is incredibly not hot unlike without the fan mod.

There's nothing like if you can do a "custom" speed that you want. This controller works the way the internal controller of the PS3 does. You can unbelievably tune it to the minutest detail and speed step. Unlike a potentiometer that can "ramp-up" the fan on certain speed steps.
Follow any "fullspeed" fan-mod video ( ie. cut the gray wire ) but add a 30K resister & a 4K POT in line. ( You can add a switch so you can set it back to Auto control if you like )
Should cost you $1 maybe $2 ( the switch might be an extra $1 )
