Can you tell me how you got it to snap shut?

@LionPawCreations I use a craft mask and cut it in half (upper lip on one half, lower lip on the other) so it can fit my face perfectly. Elastic is used to keep the mask TIGHT against my face (it is comfy though!). Jaw set is attached by hot glue; kept straight by cardboard pieces. BASICALLY - it's set up so the jaw set acts like an extension of my real jaw. c: jsdhkgjshg sorry to confuse!

I was doing a head with plastic canvas but it's hard to get the shaping right and a head made completely out of foam, like those puppet looking ones is waayyy too complicated for me. But I can't find any tutorials for this kind of head.

Did you sew the elastics together using a dummy of your head or somethin?

I have only seen this technique before with ski masks, but I´d actually like to make my next head without one^^

Oh, and did you glue the jaw on, or sew it on or use wire to strengthen it or something? Cause I could have never imagined only elastics to hold up and move a jaw so smoothly , especially such a long one with many teeth like yours o.o

@WoelfinStrikesBack93 Thanks!! I did NOT use any sort of dummy, only myself and mental measurements, haha. (: For the jaw -- as in the darker item? -- for that, I hot glued the jaw (fake/wolf) to a craft mask... then from there I continued with elastic and foam (hot glue still). uUu;; Hot glue + elastic = superglue-like strength.

@huffledork It's just a mask (simple white craft mask) cut with elastic glued to it. |D Very simple. I can't stand all the -- construction some fursuiters put into their masks/heads/costumes.
