The visualization you see was implemented in C++ using VTK, it is all implemented by ourselves. It is not open source but we are considering making available a viewer in the future.

Precisely. Desktop 3d scanning applications are very very valuable for those in the entertainment industry. I would be prepared to unload around 3-4 g for a bottom line package.
