Bikes... ironic, can swear your mom and sisters fit that description too. I know, I shouldn't fuck toothless, inbred, hicks.... but I'll fuck anything.
Lemond was great, but everyone should have to use the same equipment for the tt. It was revolutionary the helmet and handle bars. If Mignon had the same he would have kept Yellow.
@borninJune1922 Yeah, LeMond commented that the year following this Tour, the other cyclists came from out of nowhere and started to beat him. That is when he knew the pack was doping because none of them could touch him just a year before.
I got into cycling just 1 year after this Tour, and the legend of the great showdown between these two riders has never been far from my mind when discussing the event. I never got to see any more than a few seconds, and usually the same shots of Lemond firing down the last few metres of the Champs Ellesse, followed with the same view of Fignon with his head in his hands. So for this series of vids to stumble across is a huge pleasure. Thank You.
THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS VD UP. This guys were before my era, but what an icredible Tour Edition. Greg's performance was superb but Laurent was fenomenal too. You can tell the camaraderie back then.
Cycling is a true gentlemans sport, and the code that comes along with it (unwritten) is what makes this sport a true sport. Even in defeat you could tell Laurent was gracious in his loss, and Lemond wasn't boasting about his win.
