Hey.. The tuning is Drop C. If you drop your tuning (from Drop D) two semitones lower, you will be:

C G C F A D.

(Whereas it used to be D A D G B E)

If you don't know how to do this by hand, get a tuner. It will tell you the name of every note you strike.

This tuning is great for playing simplified (one finger) power chords and sounding cool. I prefer even lower when I play my electric.

if not the action,check the guage of your strings,coz if your using like super light acoustic strings (like some beginners) then you will often suffer from fret buzz from down tuning the guitar this is because of the diff tension of the strings. also look at the truss rod (if you change your strings all at once instead of individually the truss rod may need to be adjusted. if you dont know what a truss rod is reasearch it. it is important to know how a guitar works)
