The chords that Brian uses for the acoustic in this song is Em, Am, D, G in first position. Rivers doubled it by playing it this way on his electric. Watch the music video, it shows him playing this.

its supposed to be xxx453, xxx555, xxx232, xxx 433 for the intro, then 022xxx, 577xxx, x577xx, 355xxx. for the "when your on a holiday, cant find the words to say... " Then you keep playing that through the chorus if your the only one playing otherwise you do some like PICKING xxx98xx 9 8 9 8 then 9 10 9 10, then 7 7 7 7 on the alternate strings, then 7 8 7 8. anyways this is all i care to write, marty you failed on this tab, generally you're good, but this is just utter fail.

tabs can be wrong at times but here ur watchin and hearing what he's doin so kinda hard to 2 argue i would say. marty u do rock and props on teachin ppl on how to jam on the guitar. btw u can play the same notes all over the fret so take the chords and try'em in different places.
