Well, that's the thing, it's fine when I'm NOT recording anything.

When I start recording video it got hung up like crazy on my old comp.

I have a new comp, but I haven't done a new recording from it, yet.

You'll have to wait to see it crash, as I have a new computer I'm putting the mega ultra uber supertrain route on it.

It's taking a lot of time to set up multiple supertrains on the route as when I first made it on the old computer it was for 1 train and only 1 train.

Not easy as it sounds, the layout is relly huge in Trainz, I made it as close to the show as I could get it, Starts in NYC and goes to LA, not many switches or rail crossings, As I was just trying to get the route to go one direction.

Namely I'd have to bulid a figure 8 layout JUST to crash it for folks who want to see that happen, want to send me $5.00 to do it, seriously ?

Well, I made this because other folks were making Amtrak stuff, and doing better then I ever could, so I felt I should make something no one else remembers but me.

( Little did I know that others remembered as well. )

Anyway when I started making this there were no images of it online at all when I started working on it, so I did it all from memory.

I came as close as I could with nothing to go by.

Three sizes they built for the TV series.

1/3 scale, 1/2 scale, full scale.

For full scale they built exterior only for the Hollywood Railroad. The same railroad was used in Back To The Future part 3.

Interiors were sets at Universal Studios.

The TV show cost 10 million bucks to make, and because it only ran 9 episodes it was the biggest flop in TV history.

It was real for a TV show in the late 70's early 80's, they did build a train for it.

It can't be, as far as I know NBC / Universal still owns the copyright to Supertrain.

However as it's not 100% recreation it's should be safe to download and whatnot to put into TRAINZ

It's FRAPS that makes it lag, it runs fine, ALONE, but as soon as I start FRAPS the game lags, as if FRAPS is takeing single screen shots one after another and turning them into video.

Agreed! I do remember there was an episode with an audience 'laugh track'. All I remember is one actress in particular: Loretta Switt. She plays a pregnant woman...and delivers the child on the train! Not by herself, but by some 'character' who is a wanted man and is on the train for transport to face the music when he arrives.

If it were sci-fi, one must ponder at the thought of an audience 'laugh track'.

The show - to me - was good while it lasted. As, I just loved the train scenes. ^__^

Okay, i'll do up a version without music, it'll make the file not as big that way, and save on choppyness.

Most of the choppyness comes from FRAPS, it's weird, my game will run fine by itself, the second I turn FRAPS on it lags to heck and becomes choppy.

It only lags due to running Fraps at the same time

as running Trainz, nothing I do seems to fix that,

I could spend hours tweeking the settings and get

the same results.
