The 'Cap was the symbol of the Republic. He's not dead, not really. He died in Captain America #25, but think about it: He's been dead before, and he has a tendency to never STAY dead. He beat the Nazis. He beat the Communist. He even beat (no matter what anyone or the comics say) the U.S. government when it wa sbeing flagrantly un-American. You think after all this a single bullet could beat him. Nah, not possible. He'll be back, he always is.

Of course. Steve Rogers is Captain America. Or i should say was. since WW2 he's been Cpt. A but since he was "killed" his old partner Bucky now dons the mantle.

Although Cap is soon to be reborn.

I have no doubt he will come back, not now, but when the country is ready. He died as a symbol, the death of patriotism because so many people no longer take pride in being American. He will return some day I have faith in that, but I also salute his character for dying while still sticking to his morals.

It's is impossible that primary characters "die" look in the history of dc and marvel comics. Captain america will revive someday with an excuse of a robot, clone, skrull or something like that, don't worry. I think it's a call for patriotism more like a pollitical trick than a hero one. Why kill cap! He is the kind of hero america needs now in a time where we cant tell friend from foe and where our leader is the most hated man in America. We need him to be a symbol but instead they make him a criminal and kill him like a dog to sell some comic books. Well Marvel was it worth it! The sniper bullet is very powerful laxba11a, and when Crossbones uses it its super lethal. And just so you know the sniper bullet did not kill him, 3 shots to his stomach and heart killed him when Sharon Carter was under influence by Faustus. Dont you know hes coming back?
