  • I saw it in London and it was a bit different. The closing song was called "Pie in the Sky" which, for me at least, was a stronger song. I do like the message of this one though.

  • love raul

  • This was during previews. George didn't walk in during the song after we opened...his character was dead. But I agree the whole thing should have lived longer.

  • The thing with critics is, and why the bash amazing peices of groundbreaking stuff, is because there afraid of it.

Also allot of theater reviewers are from the Royal Shakepear Society, and thats why they get the jobs, because they think they are best.

    Its crazy...

  • Euan and Raul are AMAZING!

    LOVE THIS SHOW!

    It deserved more time!

  • do you know a song from this show, where the guy is singing about his mother or something?

  • vagina

  • HA HA :P

  • fucking media and rosie messin this musical up so it could cancelled :(

  • welcome to the gay thetre royal! pure queer london underground acting

  • It's sad because they had a large fan base and were filling seats nightly. To bad there was too much media bullshit; without it it could have survived longer.

  • when it was shown in the uk it got a better reveiw the americans don't know a good thing if it bit them in the arse sorry but it's true

  • Dude, I'm American and I gotta say, you're right. Our critics here are dumbasses.

  • @TistaTaker i completely agree & im american

  • @TistaTaker "americans don't know a good thing if it bit them in the arse"

Well, that and the play is a snapshot of a tiny British subculture from 30 years ago that most Brits aren't even aware existed.

But sure, the "don't know a good thing" bit works too.

  • This show was great.

    Love this song:D

  • Great Freaken Song

  • Who is it that walks in halfway through and everybody claps?

  • Boy George

  • ohh geez..what a question. 'who is that'?? wow. lol sorry. he would be the one who basically created this whole play. just incase you didnt know already.

  • I like this song a lot, against my more cultured instincts. It's actually really powerful in its simplicity - and the message is always powerful. I love raul esparza, but hate his speaking voice in this.

  • i love pie in the sky!! they didnt get rid of it in the dvd version tho, its just not the ending...there are tons of ending songs!! haha but they are all AMAZING....love it!!

  • "Pie In The Sky" is way better! why did they get rid of it!

  • I agree. Pie In The Sky was such a great ending to the show.

  • Such a beautiful song. So amazing. It's message is powerful, even though it's simple. And I think young people need to understand what this song is saying. I think it is so important.

  • I Love THis Song, Funny out of the two endings i can't choose my fav.

They are both just so brilltant!

    Love it!

  • i love this song, first time ive heard it and i loved it!!thanks!

  • Too sentimental.

glad this wasn't in the original london version.

  • I would have to agree.. I saw the London version and loved it.. wasn't a real fan of the US version. It just seem too "cleaned up." Too bad it didn't last longer though.

  • Beauty song...

  • I have only seen clips of the London cast on youTube, but I did see the Broadway cast. I think the Broadway cast suffered from trying to be too big and main stream. The London production was small and had no expectations to live up to. Both shows have moments of absolute perfection.
